Great stay, especially for families. Nice jacuzzi!

Great spot. Very friendly. The cottage is a great deal and very clean. 3 bedrooms. I am not sure why people worry about the view. The hottub has a great view. HOTELS.COM DOES NOT GIVE YOU REWARD NIGHTS for this booking. I guess that disclaimer was not obvious when I booked it.

My room was at the back. Perhaps my experience would have been different did I have the benefit of a room with a view. Wi-Fi available. DSTV on BBC Entertainment was struggling with maintaining the signal --- it was at the time of some of the worst storms in the Cape though.

We stayed in the cottage across the road rather than the rounhouse itself. It slept 6 but even for 3 of us it was very good value. The beds were huge. Great service throughout. You need a car for restaurants but that is the only downside.

Beeindruckend der Baustil, exquisit die Lage und Aussicht, die Walfische in Sichtweite davor, die freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Gastgeber, ein Frühstück vom Feinsten und ein Presigefüge, das einen daran denken lässt, das nächste doch länger als nur eine Nacht zu beliben und das Ambiente und die gebotenen Annehmlichkeiten länger zu geniessen. Ein besonderes Juwel.

Wir haben leider nicht direkt im Roundhouse, sondern nebenan in einem separaten Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern für uns alleine gewohnt. Dadurch kamen wir auch nicht in den Genuss des Frühstücks, konnten aber das Jacuzzi im Roundhouse mitnutzen. Das Haus ist einfach aber komplett eingerichtet und hat einen nutzbaren Kamin. Man kann auch draußen grillen. Das Haus liegt zwischen dem örtlichen Pub und dem Lunch Restaurant Cafe on the rocks mit einem wundervollen Ausblick auf die Bucht mit vorbeischwimmenden Walen. Das Pub ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen.

This is the nearest thing to a hotel we found in/ near Gansbaii online. Totally exceeded our expectations - great base!

This b&b has some rooms in the Roundhouse itself, and others in adjacent cottages. We had a two-bedroomed cottage, less than 100 m distant. Your (Expedia) website indicates that it has a restaurant. This is correct only in so far as breakfast is provided - to describe that as a restaurant is misleading. The owner did, however, make some recommendations of places to eat in the evening, and we had a very good meal on the night we were there.

We did a shark diving trip the next morning so we didn't eat breakfast. They let us leave our laundry and it was cleaned and ironed on our return from shark diving at a great rate. They also let us shower late in the afternoon on the day of our checkout. This was very much appreciated after we spent the morning on a boat and in the salt water. The only disappointment was the cold jacuzzi. I can't imagine anyone getting in it. It was warm bath water at best. We actually booked the place just to sit on the deck in the jacuzzi that evening because of the beautiful view.

A very nice B&B conveniently located for access to the Shark Cage Diving activities in Gaansbai. Staff were friendly at check-in, and breakfast was good. Room was well equipped with a large TV, sofas and very comfy bed. The hot tub on the roof has great views of the sunset over the ocean.
