Blue Point Resort and Spa

Beautiful views from infinity pool but rooms need major renovations. We booked superior room and were unable to stay there, therefore requested upgrade. We were offered junior suite with ocean view really overlooking construction and had issues with hot water in our suite but this was resolved quickly. Rooms are tired but kept clean. Hotel staff and management respond to issues effectively and try to find possible solutions. Ladies working at Olive SPA are incredible and made our experience unforgettable. Overall not a bad stay for a few nights but could be better. I would only recomnend this hotel because of location. Balangan beach and Single Fin bar is just steps away, Uluwatu Temple is about 7 min drive by car.

The restaurant and bar closes at 22:30 with no room service available after 22:30 and no drinks available in the room other than water. There is a fridge provided but it is kept empty. The hotel itself has quite a tired feel to it, although in general the room is comfortable enough. I would unlikely return as it does not suit my purposes, but the swimming pool area and views are beautiful.

Amazing view and sunsets. Handy to Single Fin. Pool is great. The room was okay but the bathrooms were pretty gross and mouldy.

Great location in Uluwatu overlooking Single Finn, fantastic new rooms which were very spacious and had everything you needed. Wifi was the best of any hotel we stayed at in Bali. Beautiful pool with some of the best views you can get in Bali with the occasional wedding happening as well which was quite unusual to see 3 different brides having photos around the pool?! Difficult to get around without a scooter as hotel staff weren't too helpful with directions or organising any taxi service as the taxi service out the front seems to have the monopoly with crazy expensive prices to match! Great rooms as well but we were a little uneasy to see the villa next door to ours burnt to the ground!! Supposedly due to faulty wiring which the staff wouldn't elaborate on as with a thatched roof and wooden exterior it would go up in flames in seconds! The fact that people can buy 'day passes' to the hotel pool isn't great as were regularly inundated with people ruining our pool side experience by using it as a pre drinking session before Single Finn or recovery session after Single Finn. The Hotel really needs to assess if this is necessary income as it really does ruin the pool experience of a relaxing time in Bali. Get used to the sound of pumping music either coming from Single Finn or the new beach club next door which was trying to out do Single Finn with even louder tunes and crowd. Great time in Uluwatu but just be wary of the above before you click stay!

Amazing Li action- perfect views for sunsets. The infinity pool was just stunning and well kept. The rest of the hotel is in dire need of renovation and maintenance. Appalled by the state of the bathroom with lots of mould all over, Not acceptable for a supposed 4 star hotel..!

My experience at Blue Point Bay Villas and Spa was overall very enjoyable. All the staff there were very helpful and friendly and not to hard to understand. The room (deluxe suite) was very well presented on arrival and matched the description shown online. The resort as a whole was much bigger than I expected but staff do a very good job of maintaining the cleanliness around the whole resort and the design makes it very easy to get around the place. As always though with every large resort there were a few minor problems. The first morning I was woken up by a VERY loud generator which was located somewhere close to my room. When I asked reception they said there is nothing they could do as it is a backup generator for when the main power is down. Understandable, but very annoying! Also due to the way the rooms are constructed (majority timber frames and straw roofing) It's quite hard to block out outside noise and stop mosquitoes coming in, as I found out when the people next door checked in at very early hours one morning. Besides those minor issues everything was fine. I also give a huge thumbs up to the restruant staff who provide great food throughout the day. Eating at the hotel restruant was a pleasure, good food with an amazing view of Uluwatu beach. Follow that up with a swim and a drink at the infinity pool next door and you dont regret your decision to stay at Blue Point Bay. All in all very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

The pool and restaurant were nice with awesome views. But the rest of the hotel was run down: broken lights, leaking toilets, smelly rooms, rock hard beds, weeds growing everywhere and we even had a rat in our cupboard! If you love the pool I would recommend to get a day pass and stay somewhere else.

The location was great, right next to the popular SingleFin. The room was very big, room service came fast, and was quite. There are bugs that get into the room, but you're on the water/near rainforest like place...it's bound to happen. Service good, but was a little irritated when I asked a lady at front desk to call airport and the airline to make sure flight wasn't cancelled or delayed due to the volcano erruption, and she hesitated to help me and told me I should habe gotten a SIM card.

Amazing views from the pool and restaurant. Rooms are getting a bit tired but are comfortable. Pool is very busy in the mornings as groups that are not staying at the hotel come to use the pool and leave at midday.

The view from the pool was amazing. That was the only positive. The room was in need of a make over n uncomfortable beds. There was broken tiles that you could cut yourself on , torn curtains, very poor Y fi and mostly didn't work. The breakfast was poor , no selection , no hot food ( eggs or bacon) , which was part of two other places we stayed. Very disappointing .
