Oceanus Aparthotel

The room was very cold when we arrived I don’t think it had been used since last year. The kitchen was very well quipped.

We were staying in an annex building so had to walk right round to get to the main block. Towels for swimming you had to BUY there were no loan towels. One of the receptionists had a bad cold and he was really grumpy and miserable, when our air conditioning unit was blowing out cold air all night I was told by this receptionist that it couldn’t possibly be cold air, so we froze all night! In the morning we spoke to another receptionist and he sent maintenance to fix it. It’s things like this that let a nice hotel down!

Good location in Olhas de Agua. Close to beach.

Excellent as usual stay twice a year

Asked to move nothing was offered as full. There were lots of spare rooms. All pools including indoor pool freezing. Told only heated indoor in winter. Lounge come bar fiery bar girl not willing to allow us to change television channel. Only football allowed. Karaoke very noisy for apartments near. Did not finish till midnight. Noise of road and bin men working at 1.30 am kept us awake. Overhaul reception okay. Bar girl needs a customer care course.

Had a lovely stay this weekend at the Oceanus Apartments! The receptionists were all very welcoming and very helpful indeed! Only stayed self catering so cannot comment on the food, but we wouldn't recommend the cocktails! The location was ideal with a lovely little beach not far either! Would definitely return.

clean friendly....good holiday One problem: at the main pool (which is very private) there is not enough sunbeds...plenty of room around the but as the receptionist said when asked I'll ask to get them out of storage!! (at the end of July!!).....they did but not in time and still not enough. Its not good enough to have paid for a premium stay and have to sit on cement ground when at the pool.....by the way the issue was not with guests holding sunbeds with towels...there was just not enough sunbeds and enough space to double the amount that were there.

The rooms and pool were clean and comfortable (though noise from the road woke us up early.) However, don't bother paying extra for breakfast, there was very little choice and it wasn't great quality.

Unexpectedly convenient short stay at Olhos d'Agua

Excellent location - problems with the wifi and some TV channels. Mixed service from front desk staff. Marisa was particularly helpful and pleasant. Avoid A Cantina restaurant next door - others across the road are much better AND more reasonable.
