Oceanus Aparthotel

Lovely spacious apartment, lovely pool and beach 10 mins away xx

We enjoyed our stay at the Oceanus as it provided us a good base to explore the local area. The staff were helpful and friendly and the apartment was clean and well equipped, although there was no oven/grill just 2 hobs and a toaster and the pans were too big for the hob plates. The pools were not heated or warm and swim caps are required for ALL in the indoor pool (worth buying or bringing with you). Noise from other residents was a slight issue at night when roll-away beds where being moved about and late night showers were being taken

Have used this hotel several times & a very good place to stay. Ideal for short stays & within easy travelling distance to Albufiera & Villamora. Close to many different eateries.

Good location. Not on the beach, but it’s only a 10 minute walk. Hotel does have an inside and outside pool, both of which are nice. Lots of restaurants around. Parking is extremely limited. The hotel claims they offer free parking, which means you get to find a spot on a street, if you can. Could be problematic in the busy season. Wi-fi is only available in the bar and is very, very, very slow. All things being considered it was still great value.

Glad we chose this place. All staff pleasant and helpful, rooms were serviced daily. Our room was compact but comfortable...unusual spell of rough weather meant we spent a lot of time there, but everything worked and furniture comfy enough, so...fine! Small beach just down the road, lots of local amenities. You'll need to go into Albufeira town if you are looking for Nightlife. Indoor pool was a blessing (it has outdoor ones also).

The apartment was spacious and well equipped. The area was great, close to a grocery store, bus stop, and several good restaurants. The staff was phenomenal. The only suggestion I would have would be that the hotel provide pool towels, at least for the indoor pool. They do sell lovely towels but they would be difficult to pack to bring home. Most people do not have that kind of luggage space. Other than that, it is a wonder apartment hotel.

We stayed at the Oceanus Aparthotel for 3 weeks on our first trip to the Algarve. It was a good choice considering we knew little about the area and wanted a "home base" from which to explore and research the area around Albufeira for subsequent trips. The location is excellent - very handy to everything you need and want including restaurants, grocery stores, shops (including pharmacy) and of course the beach. The hotel itself was very good. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and maintained to a very good standard, and reasonably well outfitted. On the negative side, it was at times noisy as the construction evidently involved very little in the way of sound-proofing between units. The kitchen was difficult to prepare meals in as it did not have an oven, only had a two-burner stove top, and low-quality pans that did not heat evenly. Finally the furniture is not very comfortable for relaxing on after a day of walking the beach or exploring the town, and the beds were a bit hard for our taste. Overall though the hotel offered good value and was located in an ideal location.

This was the 5th time we have stayed at Oceanus. The hotel and pool areas are very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The walk to the beach.which is lovely, is about 10 mins. Close by there are bus stops to Vilamoura and Alberferia. Taxis are also available. There are 2 supermarkets within a 5 min walk.

Super location and very friendly and helpful staff, close to Supermarkets, Restaurants and short stroll to beach would highly recommend
