Oceanus Aparthotel

We had a good experience staying 9 days at Oceanus Aparthotel in Olhis D'Água - Albufeira. We have nothing to fault . Everything was perfect. We had breakfast every day with a good variety of items and the snack bar staff were very nice . We definitely come back again.

This hotel was perfect for the three of us. It was "clean and cleaned" all the time even though it was not classy. It was close to the grocery stores and the beautiful beach. The location was handy to take off with the car for sightseeing in Portugal and Spain. The staff was helpful at all times. It was handy to be on the main floor. The bar at night was a great way to meet people from other places. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who likes to cook their own meals even though there were many restaurants in the area.

I have stayed in this Hotel many times and really like the staff the location and the rooms but it is starting to look like it needs redecorating,but would still recommend this hotel. the wi-fi system should be free to visitors it seem ridiculous you have to pay at the hotel but 50 yards away there are bars and restaurants with free wi-fi.

Apartments are spotlessly clean and in the perfect location. Staff are friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that the swimming pools are freezing cold. Olhos d'Agua beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe and is only a short walk from apartments. There are shops, supermarkets and plenty of restaurants close by. Also the bus stop is right by the hotel to visit Vilamoura, Quarteira or Albufeira or a taxi rank if you don't want to wait for the bus.

The hotel is conveniently placed in Olhos de Agua with a 5 minute walk down the hill to the beach, and within minutes walk of some fantastic eateries such as Calheiros and bars like Cabana. Staff were friendly and welcoming and couldn't do more for us to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend for a no thrills but comfortable family get away.

Friendly and very clean. Apartment was good size with good facilities - although had to purchase soap and washing up liquid for the kitchen. Lovely pools although you need a hair cap for indoor swimming in portugal. At this hotel it costs to call a cab, connect to wifi and hire the safe. Not much night life around the hotel but we enjoyed the quiet a lot and it was simple to get the bus or taxi (we asked for the taxi drivers card and called each time). less than 2 minutes to the beach which is also lit up at night and some pubs/restaraunts nearby. 30 mins walk or short bus to another beach. 30 minute bus jouney to villamoura which is just beautiful. 10 minute cab ride to the new strip some restarunts, bars and clubs. A place for the younger generations to party. A bit further to the old strip which has a lot of varied restaraunts, pubs, bars, live music and street performers more varied culture - younger and older generations to enjoy at the same time. We had a very good time and will definitely be returning!

would definately recommend this hotel to families wanting an excellent safe environment for themselves and their children. Very clean and within walking distance to an amazing beach.

The hotel and its facilities were mostly great. The indoor pool was not heated so was freezing, which I wasn't too happy about. We had to buy swimming caps to use in the pool before finding out for ourselves it was way too cold to enjoy. One night our electricity got cut off on one side of the apartment, and the person at the reception had no one to help us. You would think a hotel of this size would have someone to sort out a problem like this. I was travelling with my parents for the first time so it didn't give them a very good impression. Also, you have to pay for the WiFi which isn't even fast.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the accommodation is great with good size rooms and a balcony. The only problem was the outdoor pool. It was being used by not only the hotel guests but also families and people in other accommodation in the surrounding area, so this became a problem when trying to find to find somewhere to sit.
