Business stay in the center of Dakar. everything from a walking distance

this place deserves to be the place of residence for your stay on Dakar. Ideally located, spacious and air conditioned room. Breakfast of good, personal and courteous and available. The place is clean, close to the Independence Square , and shopping . rather quiet street and balcony in some rooms. I suggest taking breakfast at the restaurant Farid , very nice terrace.

Big room, nice balcony. It could be cleaner. Old furniture. It is Ok to stay in downtown. Few corners away from Pl. Independance. Some prostitution at the corner at night.

I stayed there for the matter of hours, but I slept very well and I realized that the location is perfect, very near to Sandaga market and you can get everything cheaply from the shops around. The price was good as well, I believe.

I stayed in the Hotel Al Baraka for five days in November. The location is pretty well situated to experience the real Dakar, plus the ferries to Gore Island are within a short walking distance. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the wifi worked moderately well. But the staff is was really makes the hotel bad. When I would ask the front desk staff for information they acted as if I were inconveniencing them. There were times when my keys were thrown back at me. When I asked to speak to the manager they refused. When it was time to leave for my flight, I paid 2x the advertised cost, because my flight was departing late a night. Then the van never showed up, I had to then pay again for another taxi to take me, all the while the front desk staff laughed and said thing in Wolof. I've been to other developing countries, and never have I experienced such rude and hostile staff. They may be better with other hotel guests, but based on my experience stay far away.

We return to the Hotel Al Baraka every year. Why? Because the staff are very friendly and helpful and look after us so well. The rooms are of a good standard, the hotel is in a great central location, and the price is good value for a mid range hotel. You will struggle to find a better option in Dakar!

They let us down picking us from the airport as promised. But great location and the staff were very friendly, great big room. Nice breakfast. They dealt with my complaint very professionally with regards to my non existence arrival transfer. They explained they recently changed services and now were doing it with their own transport. I genuinely believe it was a one off mistake ( being a travel agent I go with my gut feeling). I am happy to recommend them in the future

Considering this room comes as free lodging with the organization I'm volunteering with, I was pleasantly surprised. I was a bit worried by the look of the street, but inside it's great. Reception were very helpful, especially when my taxi driver tried to run off with one of my bags! The room is cozy but not cramped and very bright. The bedding is clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are clean. The breakfast I had here was lovely too. I'll update if anything lets me down, but so far, so good.

部屋は清潔で、とてもリーズナブルな宿でした。一点、朝ご飯がパンと飲み物のみだったのが残念です。
