Hotel Baraka

The hotel is simple, clean and located in a central area of Dakar. It is close to shops, the local market and other hotels. I was impressed about the personnel at reception, they have been very kind,patient and dealt professionally with our last minute change of plan.

Good basic hotel in loud busy area of city. Hotel restaurant, not actually in hotel, but short walk away was excellent. Would have preferred slightly less chaotic neighborhood but generally ok stay.

援助関係者が多数宿泊していて、安くてネットが快適との評判なので初めて泊まってみました。評判通りネットが非常に快適で早い。今まで多くの途上国でネット接続した中でもトップクラスの速さでびっくり。施設はそんなに期待もしていなかったので、値段相応という感じでした。

The staff was helpful; good service; everything worked but I paid by Credit Card before I arrived and then when I left they ran my Card again but with a different price saying = Oh there are some costs in the fine print so this is the actual price:= I need to check with my Bank to see which price I was charged and hope I was not charged twice: Unfortunately I was late getting back to the Airport and I did not have time to dispute.

Behandeling was super alleen de staat v/h hotel is wat minder.

私は岐阜県に住む内科医です。甥がセネガルの内地に青年海外協力隊として勤務していますので、彼を現地にて激励すべく初めてのアフリカ旅行を思い立ちました。同行者は家内と娘です。といっても私のミッションは首都ダカールに一泊目の宿を決める事。たったこれだけ。実は甥が空港で私たちをピックアップしてくれたのでした。セネガルという国は日本語の旅行本がなく、公用語がフランス語なので、英語しか外国語が話せない私には完全にアウトの世界でした。ネット検索で貴社を知り、わらにもすがる思いでネット予約したのでした。時間が無く、数日でドタバタと決めた旅行でした。楽しい思い出にて無事に帰国し、今でも貴社のサービスに深謝しています。という事で、ここまでは良し。★さて、甥はフランス語が自由です。空港でタクシーを拾ったものの運転手はホテルの場所がわからず、下町をうろうろし、迷う事一時間でした。結論ですが、運転手にホテルの名前を言うだけではアウトでした。グーグル地図を大きく印刷し、路地を全て覚えていて運転手を案内するくらいの覚悟、タフネス、があれば満点でしょうね。★実は私はホテルでは日本語で押し通しました。それでも、身振り手振りでなんとか通じました。予約のプリントを渡してカード決済が無事に出来ました。★設備はお世辞にも良いとは言えませんでした。水事情が悪く、お湯が出ないのです。ダカールではシャワーができたらおなぐさみの世界のようでした。(つまりはダカールではバスタブ保障があるのは五星ホテルです。日を改めてそちらに宿泊しました。)★バスのコンセントも電源が途中で供給されなくなりました。★それでも　Wi Fi 環境はバッチリでした。★ホテルマンの応対はバッチリでした。東洋人という事で非常に珍しがられ、ちょっぴりスター気分を味わいました。この体験はお金には換えられません。★★★総括ですが、かつて米国在住にて世界を旅する私ですが、それでもアルバラカはエキゾチックすぎました。お金を出してでも面白体験をしてみた甲斐がありました。★★★

personnel et employés très accueillant, le ménage est fait chaque matin avec propreté, je garde un très bon souvenir de mon passage a cet hôtel. le seul petit truc c est que la tv n'est pas un écran plasma mais une tv ancien modele,,,bien évidemment ce n'est qu'un détail.

équipe attentive et serviable. L'hôtel reste propre et se trouve en centre ville donc le contact avec la population se fait sans attendre.

Bin zum 2. Mal in diesem Hotel, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sind Ok mit Balkon.Werde bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt wieder hierher kommen da sehr Zentral.
