Rockwood Manor Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was delicious!

Rockwood is even more lovely than you think it looks from the pictures. Very comfortable, spacious rooms, and plenty of places to relax and socialize if you like. Our host was wonderful, our breakfast delicious. Five out of five. We will be back.

The breakfast was great, Brenda served us and told us lots about the area which we really enjoyed. The house is historical and really interesting.

The owner wasn't happy communicating via Booking.com (which suited us having a European mobile in the US), told me I was difficult to contact even though I'd responded immediately to him. I'm not sure what the problem was...

Kristy was a wonderful hostess! We enjoyed her warmth and grace. The place itself is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

I loved that space and the way it is uniquely designed. I immediately felt at peace and welcomed! Christy was wonderful, kind, and made a DELICIOUS breakfast.

We were traveling through for our son's wedding in Asheville and looking for something a little different than the chain hotels.

This place is absolutely magnificent. The attention to detail is amazing and the owners couldn't have been more helpful and considerate. Even if this takes you slightly out of your way it's well worth the trip!!!

This about 2.5 miles off I-81, and easy to fild. The breakfast was very tasty and quite adequate. I love walking the grounds. It is quiet and peaceful. The other travelers I meet there are always interesting to talk to.

The room could have used another bar of soap the shower.

Beautiful property! Gorgeous room and bathroom was substantial for the age of the home. Morning view was so pretty with the mist over the area. There is a substantial front yard with grass and trees. Gives a plantation feel. Front porch is a great place to relax in the evenings with plenty of seating and rockers. Breakfast was really good, well prepared, and plenty. The manager was in contact via text before we arrived with easy to follow instructions. Only con is a drive to get food for lunch and/or dinner but for the beauty of the property, it isn’t a bother. Our room was upstairs so we did lug our luggage but after sitting all day with travel, this wasn’t a problem. I believe they have some ground floor rooms if you’d rather avoid stairs. Bed was comfortable. Room clean and tastefully decorated. Room had a key for entry. Easy after hours arrival instructions, including getting the key to our room. Felt safe and secure the whole time. Would definitely stay again!
