Rockwood Manor Bed & Breakfast

We wish we were still sitting on the porch in our rockers and robes and relaxing with a cup of coffee. We enjoyed our stay so much and we appreciate Frank and Sarah for their hospitality and for making us feel right at home. They are like family to us now.

That we only had 3 nights there.

Frank and Rochelle were amazing hosts. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The house is beautiful and the setting peaceful. The porch was my happy place. Will be back.

This was a great stop for us! Frank & Rochelle were lively, the home was really pretty and the room was very comfortable. Everything was very clean -we were very pleased! I recommend it highly!

The location was great and very quiet. The historic home was beautiful and learning about its family history was very educational. Christy was a delight and made us feel at home during our stay including a great breakfast each morning. Sitting on the porch in the evening was very peaceful.

Beautiful family home, with lots of history. Reminds us of the old days. Frank was the perfect host, telling stories of family history. Lots of surrounding land for lovely walks. Bedroom was superb, and so quiet. Breakfast included, We will be staying here on our return journey from Memphis.

Trust me. There is absolutely nothing you will not like about this beautiful home.

Rock solid experience

We absolutely loved our stay at Rockwood Manor. When traveling, we look for out of the ordinary places to stay, places with character, history, beauty... This wonderful place has it all. Our room was spacious, clean, charming, and had a beautiful view. Our bathroom was just around the corner in the hall, but was just ours so it really wasn't a problem. Robes were provided, too, which was thoughtful. In the evening we played games in the beautiful sitting room downstairs and just imagined the people and conversations those walls have witnessed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and meeting the hosts a bonus. By all means, don't pass this up. We'd come back in a heartbeat given the chance!

The owners were warm and friendly, and cooked up a great breakfast. We really enjoyed the connection they had with the house, and the grounds were fantastic to walk around after a long day in the car. Beautiful environment.
