Riverside Boutique Hotel

Modern hotel (part of a national chain) with a bar and a nice restaurant serving fabulous breakfast. Spa center offers a variety of services. The room is not spacious and has a minimalistic setting but is very clean.

The shower floor was not leveled properly and doesn't drain well. TV had no signal - reported at check out.

The only positive thing about this hotel is its location – right across from the BILLA supermarket, which is the largest in Bansko and convenient if you need supplies.

Unfortunately, the rest of the stay was well below expectations, especially by Western European standards. • The hotel shows a lot of wear and tear, from furniture to walls and common areas. • My room was poorly cleaned – only one of the two trash bins was emptied, and nothing else was done. Worst of all, the cleaning staff left the door unlocked, which is a serious safety issue considering there is no safe in the room. • WiFi is extremely poor, barely usable in the room. • The layout of the hotel is bizarre – even though there are elevators, each floor still has random steps, making it feel like navigating a maze. Not great with luggage. • Walls are paper thin – you can hear people talking in neighboring rooms and in the hallway. • Extremely loud atmosphere, especially due to the large number of kids running around. • No air conditioning – the room became uncomfortably hot during the summer. Overall, I would not stay here again. It’s simply not up to standard, even for a budget stay.

Location is good, spa was working although we didnt manage to make use of it.

It was very hot in the room without any fan or aircon, the neighbours were loud, and the furniture seems very old and outdated. You could open the window but either had street noise or the other hotel guests that drank late into the night being loud. In general the building has a strange layout. It wasnt clear who is the staff as they didnt have uniform or name tag.
