Very clean, centrally located, and great little roof bar

It was fine. I needed a clean bed and private bath. That was all it was. So all was fine.

Overnight stay bed very comfortable good shower only downside many rooms and tiled floor so hear everybody arriving or going I would stay again.

Everything, except that one lift, for 4 people, is not enough !!! sometimes I had long waits

Hard to find. Old Slow lift takes 4 people and long queues waiting.. We walked up 7 flights of stairs. Extremely noisy room if window was open.. It was a good location. Very expensi6.

I stayed here for Champions League final night and it was a last minute booking and was charged £120 for the night which I thought was quite reasonable all things considered . The location was very good right on a main road opposite Calleo tube walking distance to the centre etc. The hotel is on the seventh floor of a building with quite a few other small hotels in it . There is a lift which holds four people but worked ok. The room was clean and the shower room ok . It was small but as there was only me that wasn’t a problem .i didn’t go for the breakfast as there was a McDonald’s about 200 yards down the road. There was no view from the window just a brick wall but again that didn’t really bother me.

The property is located directly on Gran Via which is a great location and in walking distance to everything. It's located on the 7th floor of a building containing multiple hostels. There is an elevator, although slow and only holds 4 people, I never had to wait too long. I was given a room just adjacent to the front desk. Unfortunately, I later discovered this was the worst possible room. The room size was small but adequate for sleeping and dressing. The room was clean and appeared to be reasonably maintained given the apparent age of the building. There was a nice balcony with a view of the small square across the road. This was all good until it was time to sleep. I could hear everything outside my room as if it was happening right next to me. I could hear conversations happening at the desk and people coming and going from the front door. At night, the lower entrance door is locked so guest would ring the bell to get in. If someone called, I could hear the phone ring loudly. Both sounded as if they were ringing my unit directly. This goes on well into the night and only seemed to begin to quiet a little after 3 am but it was never completely quiet and it speeds up again early in the morning. Each time I felt myself falling asleep, I would be abruptly awakened again. I can't say how different it would have been had I received a room further away from the front desk. I did hear my neighbor go into the hall to complain about the constant doorbell and phone ringing once around 1:00am. I was only there for 2 night but could not have managed much longer. I would not stay here again but maybe having a different room might have yielded a better impression so I will still give it 3 out of 5. Sidebar: I ended up with this property through Priceline using the name your own price tool, and requested a 3 star hotel. When I complained to Priceline about this choice they did what they always do, Nothing.

Perfect location! Fantastic city view! Small but ideal balcony. Reception primarily speaks Spanish but it wasn't an issue. Rooms are not individually climate controlled but we were comfortable. This is a noisy location because it is central (like Times Square NYC). The room isn't luxurious but for the price & location, it can't be beat.

I personally didn’t stay, book this room for my father in law in a hurry but went the next day to pick him up, very centric, clean, the staff is helpful and he said that he room was clean, comfortable, big for what you expect in an hostal and they have a floor for break fast that is very cheap, also if you check out early can drop the bags on a secure place for only an euro

The only thing I liked was the breakfast at the rooftop. The property is overpriced based on what you get - very small room, clean bath towels but with spots, an extremely small elevator serving five more hostales in the building, no drawers to place clothing, etc. This property should be priced at 60 euros per night, not 180 euros. In general terms, very uncomfortable.
