Nice hotel, excellent location and view was amazing

el hotel muy centrico justo en Gran via y Callao, habitacion y hotel muy limpia, el unico inconveniente el ropero no tenia ni una gaveta para colocar la ropa o articulos personales, habia que tirarlos al piso o dejarlos en la maleta. por lo demas todo esta correcto.

This was the first hostal of many and it set the bar for our expectations. It was clean and the staff were kind. We had an amazing view of the city. Overall a pleasant experience.

Everything I expected. Great location, room was clean, and staff was super friendly.

First of all the location was splendid. it’s the centre of centre. Room was ok since my aim was just to spend the night. Breakfast is really nice by considering the price of room. Highly recommended for solo travellers. It met my expectations. However it was bit difficult to communicate with the staff in English. but that did not really matter.

I would avoid this place we had several issues while being there. We where provided a room with which the door lock did not work, and we had to have someone come and open our door anytime we wanted access to our room. We tried to request for another key, however no spoke any English in order to get a new one. We also made use of the bar up stairs, SKY44, they charged us an extra 20% for sitting outside! There are no signs for this anywhere in the bar or on the menu, and we where shocked to receive the bill, when we questioned it, we where told 20% extra to sit outside. Then no one could speak English as we tried to discuss this further, as some of the drinks had started to be consumed inside and where taken outside, those drinks still had the surcharge included.

The entrance is a little daunting - but don’t be put off!! On the 7th floor you get a great view over the city and you are right in the centre on Grand Via! The staff are friendly and helpful the room was small but clean and the shower was great! Having the Sky Bar in the 9th floor was fab for a night cap and fantastic views over the city... would heartily recommend!!

The position of the place is amazing... wooow !!! Not really sure if is worthed the money.... but this is Madrid and as everyone knows the hotels, hostals are really expensive if you don't book in time. I didn't gave 5 stars just because of 4 small issues; 1- the aircon was on the entire time and couldn't be turn off, it's connected to all the rooms..... we were freezing..!!! 🤧 2- the bathroom doors don't close really well so smell do comes out 😬😬 3- they didn't change my towels for the entire 5 days stay 😦 4- the lift is a mess you have to wait long time, always busy 🤨 But over all I recommend this place, the view is worthed 😍

The bathroom is small and old ! We can hear everything from anothers rooms !

Location was really good, you can walk many touristic attractions, restaurants and night clubs and metro is very near. Facilities were average, rooms were too small. However, for short accommodations, it is OK.
