ULTIQA Shearwater Resort

This property is so well situated. We were not there for the caloundra music festival, but had we been it was the perfect spot. We were there for a dance comp and booked as no other properties left, however woild definitely stay again. Just know that their rules require full payment before arrival despite it coming up as a pay at property option on this website which caused some unnecessary confusion and stress. But their reception was most helpful in sorting it out.

Great location. Staff friendly. Room had everything we needed

Property was dated and grubby, definitely not 4.5 stars as promised. We stayed one night and found alternate accommodation for our remaining 5 nights. Tried to speak to someone at check out in the morning and front desk was unmanned for 20 mins while we waited, after which we dropped our key in the drop box and called the number supplied to let them know we were checking out and disappointed and requested a call back…still have not called me back.

Very pleasant stay, actual room not as pictured, a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. Included breakfast is perfect as well. Would stay again.

Disgustingly dirty, no communication, charges that were not explained prior. Wouldn’t stay again.

excellent position

The position & layout was great but I was disappointed the the 2 restaurants weren't open for dinner

Shower amenity unsafe, due to stepping up over high sides into slippery spa bath to utilize shower. Spa bath base is not one level surface, adding to unsafe amenity. Mould on bathroom surfaces. Dirty floor areas in kitchen & bedroom area. Insufficient dining setting and utensils for 2 pp despite being double room. Room size very small. Totally overpriced for quality. Not as pictured on website and as per advertising. We do not recommend this property

This hotel is fine. Great location right on the beach at Kings, decently stocked kitchen in terms of pots, pans etc. Staff were helpful and friendly over the phone when I made contact to ask about late check-in arrangements. Very mediocre rooms that could definitely do with a deep clean, some new fixtures and some more comfortable furnishings. Everything felt dated and a little grubby. All in all, not terrible, but not great.
