Heywood House Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Fan in bathroom didn’t work, steaming up the mirror. Light over coffee area not working, couldn’t see coffee station without phone light. Not enough coffee tea milk. No USB in any plug sockets. Pillows too hard not memory foam. Bed was to small. Bath water didn’t run away quickly

A nice hotel for an overnight stay and a good price. Nothing fancy but well kept and friendly. Room was nicely kept and included everything you need plus a few complimentary items in the fridge. A nice location not far from the waterfront, bars and other attractions. Staff friendly. They don't provide breakfast but you're by many cafes; I would recommend Brasco Lounge at Mann Island. Would stay again!

Very quick easy check in lovely staff rooms were a lot better then expected lots of space and a good windo view would definitely go back again 😊

I’ve stayed here many times. It’s very comfortable and convenient. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Hotel has a distinctiveness which is missing in chain hotels.

There are pro and cons to this hotel. Firstly the location is brilliant right in the centre, so expect a bit of noise, not a problem for us. There is usually tea coffee/ kettle, towels soaps. We also got complementary cans of soft drink bottles water and some chocolate bars and biscuits. The rooms were clean and and a good temperature. I would say very nice hotel but not luxurious, I did not like the bed sheets may be me though as they seemed too small and kept coming off in by the morning. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Nice and secure with key pads to gain entry once past reception. You also see beautiful old stair case if so not use the lift. No breakfast, but there are so many placing offering breakfast I understand why, the hotel even has a printed list to help you out in reception. Also the price we paid was really good so this makes the hotel from review 4 to 5. I would not want to pay full whack as overpriced then. Rooms are not made up every day, I am good with this , in fact we prefer this. Lady cleaning friendly when saw her and asked if we needed anything anyway, which we did not. We came by train so no headache car parking.

I've stayed here on numerous occasions,can honestly say I've never had any problems,easy friendly check in.nice,clean well presented rooms,and a perfect location,if I could be ultra critical I would say they need to put a loo brush in the bathroom,not for everyone I know.but that's the only improvement I think it could have

Very nice hotel. No frills but then I hardly ever use a gym, swimming pool and the room was comfortable and clean.

Booked this hotel for a few days away after seeing a deal that seemed to good to miss. Concerns were raised afterwards when I saw some of the reviews but decided to take them with a pinch of salt, and glad I did. Check in was quick and simple, with the very friendly receptionist. The hotel is not your copy and paste, generic chain and is a quirky building offering the basics you need, i.e. a bedroom. Rooms and building in general were clean, and the bedroom was spacious enough. Some area did show a little wear and tear but I've not stayed in a hotel that hasn't. Street noise (Mon - Wed) was minimal and the only issue I had was what sounded like water pipes from the heating system which would kick in every so often and sound like a running tap. Bed was comfortable and the shower powerful. The only issue some people may have is the housekeeping is no longer done daily, so if you run out of tea/milk or the supplied shampoo and shower gel run out (as mine did after the first day and levels obviously hadn't been checked), you would need to contact reception. Overall a decent stay and would consider again next time I'm in Liverpool
