First night the power went off at the Hotel, the emergency lights on the hallways did not work. Thanks god we had a small fashlight. They fix it within 10 minutes. The hot water is another issue. You have to open the hot water faucett and wait for about 20 minutes and then the hot water began to run.

Staff were very hospitable and good; but the rooms were pretty cold with a gas heater that wouldn’t warm anything unless it was right next to it. The rooms stayed very cold. Enough blankets were provided on the bed, but that didn’t help with the cold rooms unless you stayed under blankets all day long. Hot water was partially available in the bath room.

Room was so so filthy. Towels brown, stained and smelled of BO. Jose, the man at reception behaved cruelly. He attempted to remove our electric heater even after I explained that the gas tank of the gas heater he wanted us to use had leaked and made us exit the room and open all of the windows. He attempted to remove the electric heater twice by sending someone to do it for him. He told us that Expedia’s description didn’t say heating was included therefore the hotel didn’t have to provide heating. Puno was in the low 30s at night!! He was just an awful person to speak to. Restroom smelled of urine. The entire room was just very dirty.

Nice central hotel, excellent value for money. Simple but adequate breakfast. Only problem was I could not get hot water on one night even with leaving the water running for 10 minutes. I appreciated the pick up by the hotel from the bus station. This is a very nice gesture.

Excellent location, very customer oriented staff. The physical building is cold including the room. Room needs repair and upgrade. Had hot water faucet leaking continously..had to close the valve.

Hotel staff was super!! They really helped us out! And loved the coffee and tea on every floor!!!

I never got to stay here. I was informed that my booking had been cancelled but they offered me a room at their sister hotel at more than twice the price, luckily I was able to find somewhere which was at a similar price. I had assumed there was some problem with the hotel so imagine my surprise when a tour shuttle bus I was on stopped at the hotel to pick up passengers. I can only assume I was cancelled as I had got the room at on a secret price deal which they must have thought was too cheap.

Great value for money. Free tea outside door. Hot water showers and good walking distance to plaza de armas. Breakfast was buffet style with fresh fruits, rolls, ham and cheese. It would be my first choice if I visit Puno again.
