This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. I cannot think of a negative aspect of this hotel. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. My room was specious and comfortable. Breakfast was super, even for me as a vegetarian. It is located one block from the square and Lima Street, the main tourist street in town, walking distance to the lake and about 4 blocks from Loving Hot vegan restaurant.

Nice place. Rooms could use some updating (they were replacing carpet while we were there). Breakfast was slow if you didn't get it early. Big positive: free oxygen tanks in the lobby! I was suffering from altitude sickness and I put on the mask for about 10 minutes. Oh what a relief! Friendly staff.

We wanted somewhere cheap in Puno so chose this place. Had surprisingly comfy beds and was just 2 mins from main square so the location was perfect. Really nice staff and breakfast too. It's basic but clean, had wifi, tea and cheap laundry service too..

Competent staff. Coffee and coco tea always available. Space heater in room. We could walk to the center of town to the restaurants. We used the collectivo (very inexpensive) for a shuttle to and from the Juliaca airport. It brought us right to the door of the hotel.

Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast with made to order eggs. Clean. Good showers with hot water.

Great place for the price. Cheap tours to lake Titicaca, which we really enjoy.

Very friendly and helpful front desk lady spoke good English and coordinated our tours and transport flawlessly. Excellent restaurant recommendations. Decor a bit dated, but very comfortable and felt safe. No problems with hot water or Internet. Close to the square and shopping on Lima street.

Pick up from coach terminal was first rate as was the tour taken to the floating islands organtsed thru the hotel. Good breakfast. Staff were extremely willing to help

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night before heading out to the islands on Lake Titicaca. The shower was wonderful--hot and great water pressure. There was a young man working the front desk (newly hired) who messed up our island tour booking, but the manager was able to fix it without any trouble. All of the staff was incredibly friendly. They even let us hang out in the lobby when we returned from the islands while we waited for our overnight bus departure. the beds were on the firm side, but comfortable and warm. The room was quite chilly but the blankets on the bed made it nonissue. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very good value hotel in the old centre close to a range of restaurants. Victoria on reception was the most helpful person in all of Peru! Helped us with Lake Titicaca tours, bus tickets, laundry etc. Good size room, plenty of blankets and healthy breakfast spread.
