We found it to be a comfortable B&B and once their Renovations are completed, it will be a magic spot for a weekend away from Home.

Clean and friendly, always a good thing. No breakfast except weekends which doesn't work for me. Inadequate air conditioning in warm weather so make sure they don't turn it off when you're out or you're in for an uncomfortable night. Little bit too expensive for what it offers. Old fashioned CRT tv is a waste of time.

While trying to find a room in a very busy summer weekend my wife and I stumbled upon this old but very well kept bed and breakfast. The rooms are spacious, clean and a generous breakfast is included. It is served with a side of entertaining conversation by Jenny, the owner, who's on top of everything from very early to late at night. For a third of what a hotel in nearby Rhinebeck costs, this place is a very safe bet. You will also enjoy a small collection of antique cars, some of them parked on premises.

Spent two nights during a horse show. Room was very clean, and bed was amazingly comfortable! Good shower. Nice size room. Décor was (way) out-dated, but who cares? I'll definitely stay again.

The rooms are ample, very simply decorated. Ours had a small kitchen area. The bed was comfortable and the place is quiet. We were on the upper deck. The building could use up dating and a paint job. Breakfast comes with the rooms on Saturday and Sunday morning. You don't get to choose what you want it's the cooks choice.

Jenny's pretty much met our expectations ... which, frankly were not very high considering how close to July 4th we finally booked a room. This place is REALLY old, and very run down. The staircase is rotting and splintered and appears in imminent danger of falling apart. But the room was clean, and fortunately we did not encounter any bedbugs. Donna, one of the owners was genuinely friendly, and gracious. She served us a nice complimentary breakfast, and she offered no apologies for the condition of the place. As they say, You get what you pay for. In our case, it was a very "old school" $65 room ... at $150 per night, for a two night stay. Unfortunately for visitors to the area, all of the hotels in the Berkshires region -- especially the chains -- feel entitled to "jack up" their prices for the most popular travel weekend of the summer. Ultimately, we were happy to have found a clean, albeit overpriced place to sleep, at the very last minute. Would we stay there again? Only in a pinch.

Relatively inexpensive compared to area accommodations is it's biggest plus. Otherwise it is merely adequate. Relatively comfortable but very small room and bathroom. Disappointing that the restaurant was not open at all. The staff did not go out of their way to be helpful or welcoming...mostly they were invisible. The exterior shows definite signs of deterioration, though the interior looked okay. Overall, it just seems tired like its ready to retire.

It was definitely a 2-star experience...
