Jenny's Country Manor

This is a lovely area and the host is fabulous. Breakfast was truly good but only served on weekends at this time of year. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The wi-fi was a little weak but worked most of the time. You have to go outside to get cell service. I would certainly stay again but there are three things you need to know: 1. There is no restaurant this time of year and no bar. 2. You are staying about 8 miles from Rhinebeck so you need a car. 3. Taxi service should be set up ahead of time. This is a rural area and when there is a big event taxi services are stretched thin.

the room was clean and spacious. The king-sized bed was comfortable and there was a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, sink, and coffee pot.

This was the breath of fresh air that I needed. The room was clean and comfortable; it felt like a well kept home. The service was excellent. I went on a weekend in the fall, and the area is absolutely gorgeous during harvest season. I had a hearty breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning, included with my stay. Staff was the best!

Online it said breakfast was included. At check in there is a sign saying that it's wrong online and it is just on weekends (too late so deal with it). The wifi signal was so weak that it was pointless and gone most of the time. The decor was very outdated with old paneling. The space itself was ample. The layout was odd with the tv at a right angle to the bed so you can't sit in bed and watch. The channels were *very* limited. The creamer supplied with the coffee setup was all sour. It would have been better if I was warned to have very low expectations. If nothing else is available, you'll be fine here, but not really comfortable. You need to have something else to do because staying in the room for any amount of time is just depressing.

An interesting old style Motel from the 1990's in need of updating, some work in progress. On the whole an enjoyable stay in spite of a few items such as the wi-fi didn't work in our room but we were then given another room on the second night where it was working. In the second room my bed was very hard.

This motel is clean, but basic. The closest thing to Rhinebeck for the price.

Was a bit apprehensive about making reservations at Jenny's b/c we could not get much information about them. Was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms, quality, and comfort. Breakfast (on the weekend) was excellent. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommend and will return. A separate issue, our actual reservation was not for the dates that we wanted. I blame the travel website (Expedia) for setting up the situation and myself for not checking carefully. Regardless, when we arrived on our planned schedule we were 3 days early according to the reservation. Jenny's understood, moved the reservation to our actual travel dates, and since the rooms we expected to be in were already occupied Jenny's arranged other rooms that turned out to be even better for our needs.
