Jenny's Country Manor

As 70 year olds, we had a little trouble hauling our suitcases and accessories up three flights of steps....

Jenny's was close to Rhinebeck. We were there for the Sheep and Wool Festival. Met other attendees over breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday morning.

We stayed at Jenny's while attending a weekend event at Omega. It's nice to stay off site, and Jenny's was one of the closest inns with availability. Rooms were spacious and very clean and had a kitchenette. While the hotel could have used some updating, it did not detract from the overall experience. Weekend breakfasts were good. The only feedback is that the beds were a bit hard and rooms could have been darker as sun rises early in the summer. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Only able to check in between 4 and 7 but they were nice and accommodated my request about checking in late. I did not arrive until 9 pm. This is a bed and breakfast and not a hotel.

Jenny's is very clean. The room was roomy and comfortable. The service was great. Jenny was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was filling and delicious. It was very close to the omega institute where we were taking a workshop. The only drawback was the firm mattress, but compared to other details this was minor. I will definitely book again the next time I am in the area.

Everything was very clean. The room was spacious and the area was quiet. We were offered an upgrade because a better room was available.

Owners are friendly, conscientious, and accommodating. They bent over backward to give us the type of room we needed when our room reservation came in wrong online. Bed comfort isn't the emphasis (at least in our room). Walls may be thin - we heard snoring loudly one night.

I loved Jenny's and would stay there again in a heartbeat! My room (queen bed with a kitchenette) was very quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. It was simple and spacious. Donna was very accommodating and made me feel very welcome. I stayed there while attending a workshop at Omega. I heard from many on campus that the accommodations at Omega are very noisy so I was really glad I made the choice to stay at Jenny's instead! I slept very well there. The commute to Omega was easy and scenic. They have home cooked breakfast on the weekends, which was absolutely delicious! The dining room is charming and I really enjoyed conversing with Donna. The nightly rate was much less expensive than other area places. I would have paid twice as much to stay in a hotel. For the cost, Jenny's is of fantastic value! I also appreciated the large, well-lit sign which made it very easy to find at nighttime. Yes, the place could use a touch-up but they are competing with Airbnb spots that don't have to pay the same fees or follow the same rules. The flowers hanging by the rooms were gorgeous. A little chipped paint on an outdoor staircase did not take away from my experience; in fact, it added to it. The place's charm is that it is an authentic country spot. If you're looking for luxury accommodations or amenities, this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for an affordable, cozy place to stay that is centrally located to so many wonderful places to visit, you won't be disappointed. I was hesitant to stay at Jenny's due to reading about noise and Wifi issues so I contacted them and was assured by Donna they could put me in a quiet room. She delivered that and more, and the (free) Wifi had a strong signal. She wrote "don't believe everything you read." I'm so glad I listened I absolutely loved my stay there and will definitely return next time I go to a workshop at Omega!
