De Lanna Hotel

The staff is superb! They are responsive and eager to assist . We have stayed there many times in the past and the facility is getting a little worn but they work hard to overcome that.

You will love the design and layout of the hotel with a courtyard and pool at the center. It has a modern style with bed on floor. If you have a hard time getting up from the floor, this is not for you. Quiet, off the main street, but still centrally located. You can walk to most places in the old city.

We had a great stay! More of a boutique hotel. Food and drinks were good. The best part was the friendly staff. Also very kind with children. There was a washer/dryer on site which was helpful. Great location. The only down size was the tiny bathroom.

Excellent location for exploring the Old City. Our first floor room (108) facing the pool was relaxing, nice atmosphere. Other rooms may not have such great views, however, so perhaps a good idea to check the room location and request in advance.

Nice location for people who did not rent a car or motor bike.The room is so wet that we have to slept under wet blanket for 4 days.

The laundry machine and dryer not ok. Washing machine filled with some tissue paper and dryer not working properly, after paid for 60 bath, our clothes still wet, and we have go to outside laundry service center to do dry our clothing.

A pleasant, centrally located hotel. Had to ask for a pool view room even though I booked 6 months ago. Lovely pool after a hot day walking, though surrounds are slippery and dangerous. Male pool bar attendant was a very happy person, good service. Breakfast was pretty basic!

De Lanna Hotel is an idyllic paradise in the Old City in Chiang Mai. As part of my tour of Thailand I stayed in 4 different hotels in four different areas; De Lanna was the best. It's clean, quiet at night, great facilities, friendly staff, perfect location close to the Sunday night bazar and several restaurants and bars. I will return to Chiang Mai. When I do, I won't bother looking for another hotel; De Lanna is perfect.
