We were very happy with our stay at the American Hotel. Check in was fast and easy with Pat. She was friendly and helpful. Eric, the bartender, was friendly and efficient. The woman (sorry, I don’t remember her name) that checked us out was warm & friendly and offered us coffee to go as she knew we were going to be on the road. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Freehold.

Hotel location is great; within walking distance to many restaurants. Free parking is helpful. Bed is very comfortable! Rooms are clean. Front desk staff (Cam) was very welcoming! Love staying here. Will be back

Super hotel in the middle of Freehold with a historic connection. Fabulous staff. Would recommend to all Bruce Springsteen fans. Very safe and quiet town to see all the sites compared with Asbury Park
