Only the pub was open this time of the year therefore selection for dinner was limited

Our stay at Windermere House Hotel was truly wonderful. The location is absolutely stunning, set in the heart of the town’s beautiful natural surroundings, which made for a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout our visit. The building itself is a historic property, but it is very well maintained and full of character, giving the hotel a unique and charming style that really stands out. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it easy to settle in and enjoy our stay. The breakfast was exceptional, with a great variety of delicious options to start the day. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, which was fantastic, the food was incredibly flavorful, and my whole family enjoyed every meal. Overall, Windermere House Hotel offers a perfect blend of charm, comfort, and excellent service. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

"Kick off spring retreat"

Large stylish and comfortable decorated rooms. Exterior sauna and hot tub with a great view to the lake. Good hot/cold breakfast included with reservation.

Limited walking trails due to all the private cottages.

"Amazing views and very relaxing. Great couple resort!"

The dinners were quite good, but very pricey. The outside Sauna's were amazing as well and the hot tub and plunge pool to cool off after a Sauna. The rooms were nice and clean and comfortable, . Overall a wonderful resort.

The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best. The set up is not good either, too small of an area for the amount of people trying to get food all at once The mattress on the bed was not comfortable, they probably need to be replaced.
