"The best family holiday 2025 ā¤ļø Room1202"

The hotel was stunning with beautiful mountain views, warm and amazing blue colour of the sea, delicious food. The room was always tidy and clean. We liked everything very much, and we will definitely return here, as well as we recommend our friends. And also it is worth mentioning about the children's club Rixos Kids Club which was very cool and backed all the ages of children, including adolescents, and also the richest program of various classes for every taste that would come up, I think any of the guests. A big thanks to Mert and Ulugbeck, who kept us always informed about hotel programme for every day and were happy to help anytime. šŸ˜ŠšŸ‡¹šŸ‡·šŸ…šŸŽ‰

"What a fantastic family/honeymoon!"

What a fantastic holiday! We went as a family/honeymoon in August and had a great holiday! Rixy Fest was on the first day of our holiday and our grandkids loved it, as did we! We couldn’t fault the hotel, staff and food. We went to the Turca restaurant first, which was our favourite followed by the Mandarin, Chill& Grill and the Cactus restaurants. We had fantastic meals in all of them. On the other times we ate at the buffet restaurant or food court. All excellent food. Having a Starbucks on site and an ice cream parlour and patisserie was a bonus. The kids loved the water park and lazy river! We loved it so much we are now looking at booking Rixos Seagate for next year!

"Disappointment"

Normally, during my holidays—especially when I’m with my family—I always try to stay positive and not let anything ruin the moment. I focus on enjoying the experience. However, unfortunately, I can't say the same about this hotel and our stay here. The room walls are paper-thin, and the sound insulation is extremely poor. The staff smile a lot, but beyond their specific duties, they’re not helpful at all. After a while, you just give up asking and prefer to handle things on your own. The QR codes for menus don’t work, and even when they do—especially by the pool—they display messages like "snacks and chips have been removed from the menu." LOL. On the other hand, there is an abundance of ice cream—more than anyone would want. The entertainment shows are mediocre at best. Although a crowd gathers at first, they usually disperse quickly due to the lackluster performances. On a positive note, the Ć  la carte restaurants are absolutely amazing—flawless. The view and location of the hotel are also stunning. The sea and the sandy beach are very nice, but the beachside service is terribly poor. The pool, beach, and aqua park areas are cluttered with towels—there's an overwhelming number of them everywhere. At 11:55, Fruit bar a young staff member named Mustafa told us the fruit service hadn't started yet and asked us to come back in five minutes instead of taking any initiative. It felt like we were in some kind of simulation. We needed a band-aid and were told they didn’t have any, only a plaster (which wasn't suitable). So I had to drive into Tekirova myself to buy one. On a brighter note, the kids’ club and the staff there were wonderful and very helpful. We trusted the Rixos brand, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. The assigned representative only responded via WhatsApp with automated messages—if we hadn’t met them in person, we would have thought they were AI. I definitely won’t choose this brand again for future summer vacations. I’m writing this review to help others make an informed decision, as I wish I had read something like this before booking.

We stayed at Rixos premiumTekirova from the end of August to the beginning of September and had a fantastic week. The rooms were fresh, the food excellent, and the service outstanding. A special thanks to Cansu, who truly made our stay perfect – so professional, helpful, and warm. We will definitely return and highly recommend the hotel to everyone! Linda and family

"My Experience at Rixos Tekirova – A Huge Disappointment"

We recently stayed at Rixos Tekirova between 01.09.2025 and 06.09.2025 and I feel the need to share our experience. For a hotel that positions itself in this price range and claims to offer a ā€œpremiumā€ service, what we encountered was far below expectations. Check-in & Welcome: At arrival, there was no proper greeting, no welcome drink, no orientation. We were simply handed a form and told to sit. No hotel map, no introduction, no explanation of facilities. Guests are expected to ask about everything themselves, which is impossible for someone unfamiliar with the property. Our very first impression was already negative. Pool & Safety: Having just one main pool in such a large resort is unacceptable. By early morning, every spot is already reserved with towels, making it almost impossible to find a place. Worse, there are no anti-slip surfaces around the pool. My 4-year-old son slipped and hit his head, and I nearly fell myself while rushing to him. The pool floor was full of sand and gravel, and daily cleaning seemed non-existent. Food & Restaurants: The main restaurant was far below the standard expected from a ā€œpremiumā€ resort. Even simple dishes for kids, like meatballs, were unavailable at first. Food seemed designed only to showcase Turkish cuisine to tourists, with very average quality. The patisserie was simply repurposing leftover desserts from the buffet. Nothing original, nothing premium. On top of this, poolside dining is almost impossible. If you want a snack, you must leave the pool and walk across the resort to another restaurant. Why is that you ask because closest restaurant to the pool has dresscode to be clothed & dry. A serious inconvenience for families. Guest Relations & Staff: Mostly young and inexperienced staff employed there which is an HR issue by itself. We didn’t even know about the grill corner in the buffet until our 3rd day because nobody told us. When we mentioned this, guest relations replied, ā€œYou should have said earlier,ā€ shifting the blame onto guests. Their solution was to tell us: ā€œGo to the Ć  la carte and give them my regards.ā€ At this level, this is completely unprofessional. Guest relations spam guests every morning with copy-paste WhatsApp messages about daily programs, but never engage in real dialogue or care about actual feedback. Layout & Planning: The hotel seems like it was expanded later without proper planning. Restaurants, pools, and facilities are spread out, requiring long walks. For families with kids or elderly guests, this is exhausting. Positive Aspects: The Rixy Kids Club was absolutely fantastic. The staff there deserve special thanks, as well as Ms. İnci at the Italian restaurant. Honestly, if it weren’t for the Rixy kids club, we would have left after the first day. They were that good! Also, I must add that the room cleanliness and minibar service were good too. Rixy club was the only absolute good thing about this hotel sadly. Conclusion: Rixos Tekirova, despite being one of the most expensive hotels in Turkey, fails to deliver a premium experience. Aside from the kids club, the service is mediocre, staff unqualified, and overall guest experience deeply disappointing.

"Kids Loved it, so did we!"

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were wonderful, the scenery was breathtaking, and overall it was an amazing place. The rooms could use some updating - for example, a few switches were broken/loose and part of the balcony wood was loose too… the room cleaning wasn’t the best (though to be fair, I’m comparing this to the very high standards of Dubai hotels). Still, these were minor points compared to everything else the resort offered. Tip to room cleaning staff, don’t just pick up items and pile them to the side, neatly place them, especially if the individual tips! Highlights of our stay: • Food: Excellent variety and quality. The Ć  la carte Chinese restaurant was our favorite. • Rixy Kids Club: A huge success with our children. They were hesitant at first, but soon went every day. They loved activities like pottery, marble art, Lego robotics and woodworking - all led by fantastic and caring teachers. • WhatsApp Service: The WhatsApp group is a brilliant touch - every hotel should have it. It meant we never had to use the room phone, and help was always just a quick message away. Kiana even came to our room herself personally on one occasion to drop something off. Special shoutouts to the staff who made our experience unforgettable: • Adinai (welcome area): Her warm smile greeted us daily and set the tone for each day. • Saltanat: Helped us with our Ć  la carte booking, even though we weren’t her clients. • Kiana & Saikal: Assisted us via WhatsApp - always quick, helpful, and even delivered items directly to our room. • Main Restaurant Team: Muhammad Kines, Bahar, both Vedats, and Sami Dağlı (the FenerbahƧe fan!) made our dining experiences extra special. Vedat went above and beyond! • Spa Reception: Gul and Ayesha were so welcoming and kind. • Rixy Kids Club: Serife T, Natalia (our fun Uno opponent [and loser!]), and Şevval kept the kids engaged and happy. They all constantly smiled, I envy Şevval who had a permanent smile constantly, it could light up a room. • Bar Service: Otabek prepared drinks quickly and made delicious mocktails. As did Emre at the bar. • Ice Cream Parlour: The lady in the scarf (sorry we didn’t catch her name) was patient and so kind with the children. Kudos to you. • Omelette Station: A true star, working tirelessly in the heat and always with a smile. Overall, this resort has so much to offer, with amazing staff who truly make the experience memorable. With a few room updates and slightly better cleaning, it would be perfect - but even as it is, we had a truly wonderful holiday. The land of legends is also a must visit through the hotels shuttle. I appreciate the efforts of all the staff, and would love to return.
