ibis Bordeaux Centre Bastide

In a quiet neighbourhood, yet convenient for Bordeaux sight-seeing.

The hotel is situated in La Bastide area of Bordeaux which is about 15-20 minutes walk to the city centre. However, if preferred the hotel is close to a tram stop which will take you directly into the centre. These trams run quite frequently. The reception staff were excellent and the room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel also provided free wi-fi.. We were also impressed with the shower cubicle in the bathroom - very spacious. We did not have any meals at the hotel, so cannot comment on this aspect. There is also undercover car parking available at 10 euros for 24 hours. We enjoyed our one night stopover in Bordeaux and would certainly stay here again. Thoroughly recommended.

Great location just across the river from the city centre. Clean, modern with all the facilities you need, including a very comfortable bed. Very good value for money.

Comfortable and convenient Feel that the 'free' parking in the square in front of the hotel was engineered to confuse so paided the €9 a day charge in the hotel car park.

Decent area of Bordeaux, within easy reach of bars and restaurants, and a supermarket (Carrefour) right next door. Hotel was clean, and room was quiet.

The hotel seems brand new and the staff was very helpful. There's a Carrefour right next door for any grocery shopping. There's also a beautiful Catholic Church just 2 blocks away. The hotel is not smack-in-the-middle of city, but it's just a 5 min tram ride away. We wanted to drive to the wine country, so the fact that we didn't have to fight our way out of town through traffic was great.The room is a bit small, but it's what would be expected.I would definitely return.

We had no issues with this hotel. Comfortable and clean room. The neighborhood is a bit sparse, especially on the weekend, but the city center is a 15 minute walk or a short tram ride away. We would stay here again.

The hotel is just outside of the city center, across the river. You can take a tram (2-3 stops, depending where you want to go) or walk across the bridge, it's safe around. After the bridge, go straight or to the right, the area to the left is not so great (but equally old). There is a big (for a change!) supermarket downstairs. The room is decent size. The bathroom is like a capsule from spaceship ))) small but well-designed! Bed was good. The parking is in the underground.

Excellent, well-maintained hotel - as good as an Ibis can be. Nice location for car drivers as a short walk across a bridge from Bordeaux city centre, but ample parking available either in underground garage (€8.50 per 24 hrs) or on street (free).
