Illinois Beach Hotel

The beach was great. Front desk staff a little surly. Needs a lot of maintenance. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

I like the place, it is very quiet and safe, but the room requires better cleaning, the balcony was not clean and blinds need to be washed, anyhow i liked it.

The family really enjoyed themselves at the beach and hotel

It was clean and the staff was excellent! Would be great if the pool and fitness center were open and useable.

The staff was mostly friendly. Complimentary coffee in the lobby would have been helpful. $19 for the breakfast buffet was excessive. I wanted to enjoy the outdoor portion of this hotel and property the morning of my stay, but the party on the patio from the night before was not cleaned up, so every table was sticky and had empty bottles and glasses all over them. The beach was littered with beer cans and various liquor bottles. The AC didn't seem to work well. The whole place was generally warm and muggy.

It’s is nice to be at the beach for this price …

Loved this hotel, friendly, comfortable, good food, lakefront with a beach, and just a comfy feeling all around
