Illinois Beach Hotel

The view is amazing

1. The hotel looks as if it is still under construction. 2. I asked a couple of time if someone could come and clean the windows. I paid extra for the lake view. No one never came. 3. When I checked in, there was hair on the toilet and bed. I asked if someone could clean the room the next day, they said the cleaning staff had left for the day. They said someone may come later to “refresh”. A guy came later to take out the trash, and that was it. I would say if you want to be close to the beach, book another hotel or house, it’s not worth it

It’s a great place to get away if your from Zion or not the view is amazing the beach is right in front of you the only thing that it’s missing a hot tub or a fireplace but in other words I wouldn’t book no where else

Room we were offered had spider webs and at least 7 spiders in them. Egg sack on the ceiling. One web had about 50 dead bugs in it. Bathroom vent slats were covered in a thick layer of dust. It had obviously not been cleaned in weeks. We insisted on a new room and were given one, which was clean. Front desk staff was very helpful.
