White Hart Hotel

Beautiful period property in the heart of Lincoln. The cobbled streets are so beautiful. No car parking onsite so need to park in a public car park about 2 minutes walk away. Quite noisy on a Saturday night on the street. Breakfast was OK but service slow and bacon, sausages and black pudding over cooked to state of dryness. Very nice decor - particularly in common areas.

Wonderful hotel right next to the Cathedral, the steep hill and the castle. Close to everything else. Lots of shopping and eating options right there. Nicely appointed room, large clean bathroom, and a great shower. Front desk staff member was very helpful and attentive. Our room was facing the cobble stone street, which was lovely, maybe a little bit noisy with revellers (but it was a Saturday night). Would definitely stay here again.

Another lovely stay at this beautiful hotel in the heart of historic Lincoln. A short walk from both the Castle and Cathedral. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. However, we had a delicious afternoon tea and breakfast in the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming. A wonderful stay and would highly recommend for anyone visiting the city.

The hotel is in a lovely position in Lincoln, very close to the castle and Cathedral. A few dining options close by too. The hotel offers free parking, unfortunately it is not clear when booking that this has to be pre booked as space is very limited.We had to park in the Westfield car park which was an added expense we were not aware of until we were checking in. Also the car park fills up very quickly and is a 7 minute walk from the hotel.

Great position. Lovely staff. Great facilities. VERY comfortable bed.

The room was noisy, both from inside and outside the hotel. The room that slept 4, has one sofa bed which is unfit for purpose. Breakfast was included but it was awful with very small portions. We had to wait a long time for the food, tables were not laid properly and no staff around to ask to sort it out - we shared 1 spoon between 3 people. I'll never go back or recommend this to anyone. There is also no on-site parking as advertised. You need to pay £10 per 24 hours nearby and walk to the hotel.

Gorgeous period hotel. Not as cramped as many others in the UK. Lovely modern and updated rooms. We had a view of the cathedral from our window which was gorgeous.

Brilliant location for the Castle and Cathedral. Lincoln centre is walkable but you may need the walk and ride bus to get back up Steep Hill. Bathroom size was huge with a separate bath and rainfall shower. Toiletries were first class (Elemis). Great value for money considering room size, proximity to shops, pubs and restaurants in the beautiful Bailgate area. We will be back for more of the same….

Really enjoyed my stay. Had a bit of an issue with being double charged but I think that was Expedia’s fault. Lovely property and room. Good value for money.
