Perfect for cathedral. Great choice at breakfast.

Small but reasonably comfortable room. Not massively impressed and think I’d prefer a Premier Inn for value for money than here. The best thing - breakfast. Just lift it and super welcoming staff.

Hotel was lovely but we were given a very small room which literally had the kitchen fans outside of our window. You could also hear the music in the restaurant until gone 11pm.

Small but nice room. Bathroom a bit cold. Lovely old hotel. Great location.

Everything was really good, bar staff particularly good. Only disappointment was the lack of the claimed parking.

Unhelpful doorman said there was no parking available and sent on a wild goose chase of full car parks only to find there was a hotel car park after all!!

1. There isn't any parking at hotel. 2. Noise coming from outside, (aircon/heating units maybe!) 3. No milk in room and in phone to reception is a nightmare to use, (so had it black!) 4. Lift very slow, but better then using stairs when intoxicated from being, 'on the tiles!' 5. Light coming from under main room door, so had to use pillows to block lighting. 6. Shower head very very low. 7. Could here next room talking when arrived in our room through link door, (they probably heared us having late night adult fun!) 8. Wasn't anything special, quite expensive, but the food is excellent! 9. Cheap/thin tissues in room, so used a towel to wipe up personal spliiage at night, as the tissue breaks up and sticks to you! 10. Double bed is two separate singles, but very comfortable. Thought my stay at The Lincoln Hotel, would have been better then it was to be fair! Craig

Was an amazing place to stay. I couldn't fault anything. Will certainly go back. I know that area well and the hotel is just right for visiting the castle and cathedral.

It was a special birthday treat so a little disappointed when we were woken early with scaffolding going up outside our bedroom window and men on the platform!! Other than that a very comfortable stay.
