Hotel Tortorina

Urbino piccola città ma molto bella e piena di storia. Abitanti molto disponibili. Palazzo Ducale, una meraviglia Prezzi contenibili Purtroppo la neve e il freddo hanno condizionato molto la visita

Buona posizione rispetto al centro storico di Urbino, parcheggio x auto e colazione con ottimo strudel. Hotel panoramico con vista molto bella sul paesaggio circostante.

Camera ampia, probabilmente una doppia adibita a singola, molto silenziosa e con wi-fi. Con un piccolo frigo bar, utile, e climatizzatore silenzioso. Peccato che il ristorante/pizzeria fosse chiuso a causa del periodo autunnale. Colazione un poco scarsa, però buona. Probabilmente ritornerò in questo hotel.

We booked for 2 beds, but when we got there, they did not have a room ready with 2 beds. We had to come back a few hours later. The receptionist was an older gentleman who did not speak English and we don't speak Italian. There was no one on staff who did so we had some fun with hand gestures and our translator app! The gentleman was most accommodating and helpful, though. The room we got was small and not particularly comfortable. Our Italian gentleman assured us that we should come back to him the next day and he would move us to a better room, which he did. The hotel had a lot of facilities to use, such as the pool, a playroom for kids, massage therapy rooms, and a pool bar. The breakfast was the basic buffet of cereal, pastries, fruit and yogurt. This was the only hotel on our trip we couldn't get an single ice cube for drinks in our room! Overall, the hotel needs an update, but it was clean and comfortable enough if you kept your standards lowered.

This hotel represents excellent value for money. We stayed here for 4 days in August. Built into the side of a hill the entrance is on the top floor. A large reception area gives fantastic views over the country.side. The restaurant is on the next floor down with a huge terrace. We had breakfast there every morning, drinking in the view. The rooms are on the lower floors but as the hotel is right at the top of the hill, views are not compromised. The rooms are clean and well appointed with good air conditioning (essential as the temperatures were in the high 30s). They have fridges - a nice touch when you want to keep a cold drink close at hand. The pool is on the second floor. It's very well-maintained and was a real plus for me when the heat of the day made anything more energetic too taxing. Personally, I would have preferred out without the loudspeakers broadcasting the local music channel, but that's just me. The hotel is just a few minutes drive from the historic centre of town, so very convenient. Overall - bravissimo, Hotel Tortorina. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

l'hotel Tortorina è collocato vicino alla città di Urbino , facilmente raggiungibile . L'ospitalità non manca , sono tutti molto gentili , la struttura dovrebbe essere modernizzata un po , per non parlare poi degli arredamenti e della pulizia che lascia un po desiderare.Per quanto riguarda la colazione , un abbondante buffet colmo di tante cose buone e un'ottima vista belvedere.Tutto sommato il prezzo molto buono .

The positives: The location is great, about 15-20 minutes walk from Urbino city center. It has a unusual built, when you enter you are on the 6th floor. There is a parking, which is a difficult thing to find in Urbino. The view is good. The negatives: The hotel was practically empty which gave the place together with the outdated furniture and design a sad feeling. The hotel should indeed work on improving as it has a good potential.

Cercavo un hotel economico ma pulito e con tutto quello che serve a pernottare comodamente in una calda giornata di luglio e l'ho trovato, oltretutto con vista splendida dalle stanze e dal salone ristorante, a due passi dal centro di Urbino. Niente suite principesche, dunque, ma tutto quello che cercavo l'ho trovato.
