the attitude of the owner- host was a big problem! hospitality and service doesn’t come easy to all but if you are in business you should have the right attitude to serve your guest! one after the other they were so many things that went wrong n instead of resolving issue the owner said at 11 in the night that we should checkout immediately. that was worst ever experience! 1. there were no slippers in cold 2 degrees weather n marble floor. 2. the iron didn’t work 3. the tea ordered was sent made with burnt milk 4. there was no hot water facility, given the cold temperature going lowest to 2 degrees in jaipur we were expected to manage with cold water.

Beautiful heritage property built in 1940s in Civil Lines - a great amalgamation of royalty and colonial life. The furniture, fixtures and arts date back to decades, but have been well preserved.

Nothing specifically, breakfast spread could have been better given the cost of it.

It’s a lovely vintage property with an Art Deco vibe and a history but with modern amenities. The location is great - in a very nice neighbourhood, within Jaipur and close to all the major attractions (though not walking distance), has a metro line close by, generally well connected. The house was spotlessly clean, and has a kind of luxurious simplicity, with everything just right. A very well run home, with fresh meals (breakfast and dinner) available which we did end up having quite a few times. The home food was excellent and a respite from the heavier meals outside. We appreciated the breakfast repast which was fresh and included hot items like eggs cooked to order, methi paranthas etc. The staff were helpful and kind without being obtrusive. There is a stylised garden in the front and a cafe on site (Brot) which we didn’t get a chance to visit. The owner Deepali was very nice and welcoming and gave us good tips on places to visit, shopping and food. Very relaxing stay.
