A very different stay for us. Huge rooms and lovely family owners. we did eat out for dinner. The breakfasts were a big disapointment , little variety and the orders took too long to serve when you are on a tight schedule.

Had a very comfortable stay in this fabulous property. Lovely old villa surrounded by a very tranquil garden. Lovely big window. Private and quiet.

The pictures on the web site do not do this homestay justice! Tucked away in the civil lines area of Jaipur lies an oasis of calm in this bustling city. Barwara kothi is a beautiful homestay with a delightful family history. We were warmly greeted and shown to our room tastefully decorated with beautiful pieces of furniture and fabrics that took you back in time to a bygone era and a large balcony that overlooked the rear garden We ate dinner there twice in the dining area the walls adorned with black & white pictures of maharajahs and family history. The food was homemade freshly prepared and delicious. The staff and family were friendly and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend this homestay ... excellent!

We were here for just one and a half day & a night and the property itself is very good. Its a private bungalow of a local family (mebbe some relation to the palace) and the kothi itself is superb. Nice and green compound. Immaculate & spacious room. We just had one mean in the kothi which was a breakfast and that was a big let down. Very little variety and no freshly made stuff. Egg was on order and took a while to turn up. So avoid the food but stay to experience the bungalow.

Returned after two years and am glad that I did! Deepali and her staff are always so pleasant and helpful. The rooms are spacious enough to make room for all your wonderful Jaipur purchases!!!) and the staff is always there with a smile! An oasis in the middle if the city!

Spent three enjoyble nights in this welcoming home. Very charming owners gave us a warm reception. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Delighful family photos on the walls all around the house. We highly recommend this family house. We will back as soon as we can!

It was perfect and we felt really safe. The room was beautiful and clean and the breakfast was delicious. Next to the Taj a great place for dinner. Out of the way of the noise. Would stay here again.

Our room was large and beautifully decorated with easily enough space for an extra mattress. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help. Deepali was charming. It was a lovely place to be in Jaipur .

Well maintained and amazingly clean. Fantastic home cooked very tasty fresh food. Will recommend or stay again. Beautiful pictures of royal family.
