Please note the last service of the day to depart Cairns is at 13:30 and the earliest service to depart the property is at 9:30. Any alcohol brought onto the island will be held by the Resort until day of departure. Please be aware that due to the resort liquor license, guests must be 18 years or older, or traveling with a parent or legal guardian. Reservations are required for our dinner service at Zephyr Restaurant. Dreadful. Ridiculously expensive. Weekend surcharge. Damp, smelly rooms, cockroaches in the bathroom. Cockroaches in our tea cups. Issues with showers and air-conditioning. I made a very calm complaint and was asked to email my issues. I did this and its been a week and still not heard anything back -- despite the reminder email I sent. We were a party of 10... every room had something wrong with it. Staff are lovely, the rest is sub,sub,sub par.

The experience we had in Fitzroy was unforgetable and we would highly recommend this place. The staff are aproachable, the Resort itself are clean and well maintained, hopefully it remains.The Nudey beach is exceptional. Snorkelling just near the shore is magical. It looks like you are inside the Aquarium.

I think the track going to the summit, should have ropes to avoid the risk.
