the rooms were good for price and the apartment was in a good area.

i had two signed formula one driver hats stolen, and had a man next door to my room screaming out scary and inappropriate things all night long.

If you are on a tight budget and can accept a partly repurposed, almost derelict property with parking, cooking, and good access to public transport, you should consider the price worth considering. If you are looking for a tidy, comfortable and well appointed room, perhaps look elsewhere. We found an unlockable door, broken stove top and unworking TV, among other things but managed to negotiate a fair solution and appreciated the attractive price for a convenient location. The bed, toilet and shower all allowed us to enjoy our stay albeit without the comforts Australian travellers would normally expect.

The location is minutes to Chapel Street which has chic shops and excellent pubs up and down the length of it.

The bed was hard as a board, the ceiling fan did not work so it was stifling the entire weekend, the other tenants were noisy, the shower was ok but dated, there were black bugs everywhere and so it was 2 stars but should be more like 1 star.

BED BUGS 🐛

There were bed bugs. When I discovered them I sprayed the bed with fly spray and slept on top of the bed under a blanket. Also the blind broke when I was trying to pull it up and I told the lady at reception and she had a look but did not come back with someone to fix it. That was before I discovered the bed bugs. A horrible experience.

The area was quiet and close to a tram stop to get to the city.

The staff had no idea what they were doing. The room was not as described - we were meant to have two double beds but had one and a sofa bed that they didn't provide sheets for. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and we've left covered in bed bug bites.

Doesn’t look like anything in pics. There is no sinage and shouldn’t be on Wotif. We checked out 3 days early
