Close to everything and very nice grounds

The staff wanted to charge Q20 to use the restroom after we went to the restaurant (which was already overpriced- but whatever…) but being chased down by an angry lady yelling at us and a doorman took the price! It was upsetting as we have traveled everywhere and don’t mind paying if we aren’t guests… but let’s be real, Q20 is highway robbery.

This hotel is by far one of the best we've stayed. The hospitality is top tier the manager was amazing we lived everything about it will return.

Close to the port where you take the boats to other towns. Close to shopping and convenience stores. The food at restaurant was ok but the service excellent.

The grounds of Don Rodrigo were beautiful! We loved that we were able to step outside our room and have a gorgeous view of Lake Atitlan and the mountains/volcanoes. They had a pool which was nice bc I personally don't like swimming in lakes and my friends did have a hard time finding a good spot to take a dip. Staff was super nice and also helped connect us to a driver to get to the airport the day of our checkout. The location of the hotel is right at the end/beginning of the main street with all shops/ restaurants so very convenient. It was also a quick walk to the docking area where one would take the lanchas to other surrounding villages. Felt safe as well.

Too expensive for what the hotel has.

They should offer at least a breakfast with the money you pay.

The Pool was not what I expected but was a nice amenity.
