Great location, walking distance to malls and restaurants, room was soundproof and very comfortable. The reception is going through some renovations which made the check in area very noisy and with strong paint/chemical odor. These renovations should be mentioned when the customer makes the booking so dosen't take you by surprise. Saying that, the works were only at reception and didnt afect the comfort of the room.

"Wonderful Stay with Warm Hospitality"

We had a fantastic three-night stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Salitre. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and safe. Special thanks to Ingrid in the back office for arranging a seamless airport transfer—her efforts made a great first impression. The hotel itself is spotless, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was simple but included some delicious local flavors, and the restaurant staff were always cheerful and attentive. We were initially hesitant about visiting Bogotá, but with a bit of planning and using the official hotel-arranged transport, we had an incredible experience. The location is convenient—close enough to the city center yet not too far from the airport, which made getting around easier, especially in Bogotá’s traffic. Exploring the city was a highlight, from the breathtaking views at Monserrate to the fascinating Gold Museum, where we learned about the Muisca people and the legend of El Dorado. A day trip to Guatavita Lake added another layer to our understanding of Colombia’s rich history. For those considering a visit, a few words of Spanish go a long way in enhancing the experience. Overall, this hotel was an excellent base for our trip, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality of the staff. Highly recommended!
