Willowbank Resort

We did a day pass while on a cruise. Staff is beyond friendly. The pool is clean and a great size. Food was good. The best part is their private beach! Beautiful, clean , just the perfect day!

We booked a Tea and Tales shore excursion that included an afternoon tea at this waterfront resort. We had a great time at the tea and everything was delicious. There was a fun camaraderie among all the participants and everyone appeared pleased. We learned about the resort and the area. After, their staff told us to enjoy the grounds when our tea was finished. We wandered the property and took advantage of the verandas as well as the lawn furniture. The gardens were fun to stroll through. I’m sad the moon gate had been lost but the remains were still visible.

Without going into a long story, my wife and I were ill by the time we arrived. The staff at Willowbank took care of us as if we were blood family. On another note, beautiful views and sunsets, cheerful grounds.

The place is perfect. Paradise. Adjacent to a crime free neighborhood. Away from crowded areas. People working here are so kind. I’ll be back. Always left my room unlocked.

Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage an zwei kleinen Sandstränden, wobei vor allem der Harbour Beach sehr gut zum Schnorcheln ist. Da das von mir gebuchte Garden-View-Zimmer sich in einem sehr schlechten Zustand befand ( z.B. kaputte Jalousie im Bad) wurde mir am nächsten Abend ein Upgrade gewährt. Dort hatte ich dann eine Terrasse mit Meerblick.

Das Hotel wäre eine sehr schöne Anlage, wenn diese besser gepflegt würde. Zwar waren sehr viele Angestellte mit der Gartenpflege beschäftigt, die Zimmer waren jedoch ungepflegt. So wurde z.B. mein Zimmer in der Zeit meines Aufenthaltes kein einziges Mal gekehrt oder feucht gewischt ( bei der Ankunft im Gartenview Zimmer lagen noch tote Insekten wie z.B. Falter im begehbaren Kleiderschrank). Es war nicht möglich, außerhalb der Restaurantzeiten Getränke zu kaufen. Ingesamt waren nur sehr wenige Gäste im Hotel, so dass es manchmal fast zu einsam war (z.B. wenn man am Strand oder Restaurant ganz alleine ist, ist es doch ein “komisches” Gefühl ).

We enjoyed our visit to Willowbank! Everyone was so kind and friendly especially Daivone! We wish we had him for our evening restaurant service as he was a true people person who wanted everyone to enjoy their meal. The views from Willowbank are amazing! True Bermuda! Love the quiet beaches. We will return soon!

Bermuda Vacation 2025 I have made trips to Beautiful Bermuda from the age of 5 to visit family and I have so many fond memories of this beautiful island. As a family, my husband and two sons have made several trips to Bermuda staying at Southampton Princess and Newstead Belmont, enjoying excellent accommodations and customer service. For this trip, arriving on July 30th our group of 12 adults and two children planned a 7 day vacation to Bermuda booking 6 rooms at Willowbank Resort & Conference Center. We started planning this trip with Vicky Bennett, Reservation Manager in March. She helped coordinate rooms, dates and any individual request for each guest in our group – she was delightful to work with. Five of the rooms booked were in the Tamarisk Building with awesome ocean views. I reserved two rooms for my family, both rooms were infested with ants! In the bed, bathroom, floors they were everywhere! When I raised the concern with the General Manager, Terry Allison, there was no apology. She normalized ants in the room as just part of being on the island and indicted each room should have a welcome letter warning the presence of ants & roaches. This warning or disclosure was NOT on the website or discussed during any of our conversations /emails or text leading up to our trip as that would have changed our plans to stay at Willowbanks. We have never experienced this problem at Princess or Newstead. Ms. Allison offered to change rooms but could not guarantee an ant free stay so we stayed in the same room and she requested housekeeping to strip the bed linen in both rooms and sweep up the ant trails. We kept our clothes in our suitcases, sprayed bug spray (provided by my relative not the hotel) every day. The next day housekeeping provided clean towels but did NOT sweep the dead ants or make up the beds. The front desk indicated there are two levels of housekeeping services: Fresh or Full Cleaning. Again, not disclosed at check-in or during any earlier discussions. We requested a broom and dustpan to sweep up dead ants from the bug spray. The rooms were just not clean – we purchased Clorox spray and wipes to do our own cleaning. Another issue for our group, air conditioning stop working. They were moved to another room but ended up killing several cockroaches throughout the night…they were moved to their third room. This is an older property that needs updating, but there is no excuse for not cleaning the rooms and lack of accountability from Management. Management did provide some financial concessions, but only after my insistence. The bright light for this entire stay was the service and attention to detail provided by Davione! Davione delivered the WOW factor you expect with great customer service – he could deliver a Master Class to Willowbanks Leadership on great customer service.

Gorgeous location. Laid-back atmosphere and cute little private beach.
