Whitefish Lodge and Suites

A very woodsy cabin/lodge feeling. Building has a lot of style

Whitefish lodge is in the beautiful town of Crosslake. I stayed there while visiting a friend who lives nearby. The main lodge area is very "up-north" with a lovely view of the golf course to the north of the lodge. The rooms are comfortable. I thought the complimentary breakfast was adequate. I had some trouble with getting my T.V. to work but the person at the front desk was very helpful. I have stayed here several times and enjoy it.

We were lucky and found a vacancy last minute for the July 4th weekend with our dog. The staff let us check in early (call the morning of your arrival if you need early check-in). Here is a nice thing about this property; they have adequate staff at the front desk and they multi-task well! Check in and out was fast, the maids were nice and they have a massive dog run area. Room was very clean and had a refrigerator and microwave in good working order. Plenty of parking if you have a boat. Located right downtown Crosslake with plenty of food choices close by including the Minnesota famous Zorbaz pizza. This is the place to be, incidentally, for the fabulous St Patrick’s Day parade (which includes a boutique in the hotel lobby). They have a fabulous breakfast buffet (about like other hotels, but cleaned and prepped constantly by a lady who really hustles). We can’t say enough good things about our impromptu stay. Heck, the cabin was too full and we didn’t miss the relatives a bit at night; we’re going to do it every year!

My wife and I have returned several times to Whitefish Lodge. We love the ambiance, the hotel service and the Crosslake area. We spent a Friday evening at the lodge, and went snowshoeing on Saturday morning at a nearby Wildlife Management Area. We love going here and will definitely return.

Wonderful place for couples. Very helpful and friendly service. Nice pool and jacuzzi. The King Suite with fireplace was great for entertaining friends. The breakfast was fare, but the server was great at keeping the place clean and making sure nothing ran out.

Basic two star, with good customer service, so I bumped it up. Not really close to anything. Wedding that weekend so very busy, and loud. Shared staircase with wedding party, and pool. I booked for the hot tub which I needed after a long drive. It was out of order. It was a very beautiful area, and the fall colors were awesome. All in all, I wouldn't go again.

Amazing hand made furiture, nice and quiet place, very enjoy stay.

Nice atmosphere on a cold rainy night. The shuttle service to the nearby Manhattan Beach lodge for dinner was a bonus.

This was a very nice place. The lady at the front desk was very accommodating and nice to deal with. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

My now-teenage daughters and I stay here every summer on our annual visit to my sister in Breezy Point, and it's always a pleasure. In our many visits, everyone we've dealt with has been helpful and friendly, and the rooms are charming. I look forward to coming back next year.
