To say the hotel is amazing and splendid is to say nothing :-) Beautiful gardens and rooms, cosy restaurants and bars with a magnificent view, and all that with flawless service and perfect staff. A big plus is also the easy access to the private beach of the sister hotel. It wasn’t the first Belmond hotel in which we stayed but for sure one of the best.

We had the best experience on the terace of the hotel with an aperitiv and the best view but Fabio was the one to make our night out really special. Incredible service, incredible guy, thank you Fabio and congratulations Belmond for hiring wonderful people like Fabio.

This is an incredible property. Four Seasons is nice, but full of pretense and doesnt feel authentic. This property is ITALY, it is SICILY. The resort is magnificent. The views are best in town. The room was amazing, even the bathroom had a view. The staff-well, everyone should go there to learn from them. They know all the guests by their name. They are kind, attentive, go out of their way. This place offers so much for the value-free water, free fruit, free ice cream at the pool. Throughout the day you are getting snacks, all in the price. One of a kind experience and having travelled to many top hotels in the world, this takes the prize.

We stopped at hotel Timeo for a cocktail during our day in Taormina. It was fantastic! The drink was superb and olives were delicious but the two best things were easily the view and the service. The view of Etna and the coast is spectacular, and Fabio was the best waiter we have had on our trip. We would return for Fabio alone

Great character, old world luxury with modern comfort. Outstanding location. Exceptional service. Expensive, but like all luxury travel with high standards, prices have escalated substantially over the last 4-5 years. But worth the price.

The Grand Hotel Timeo just seems to get better and better you would not think it could be improved but it just excels every time you visit this is our 4th time. The place has the enviable setting of the most amazing backdrop of the Teatro to the rear where we seen Simple Minds play a concert the last of their 2025 tour, and then the front view of Naxos bay with Mount Etna as a backdrop just amazing.The whole Team remember you and call you by your name it makes you feel special the little gifts they give around the pool ice cream, fresh fruit, sun tan lotion and at no extra cost!! Also the gifts they leave you at night without doubt the best Hotel I have ever stayed in and will definitely return
