Unbelievable property, service and rooms. We spent 3 nights at Hotel Timeo and despite being in beautiful Taormina we didnt want to leave the property! Huge perk is the access (beach or otherwise) to their sister property on the water - Belmond Saint Andrea - they treat you as if your one of theirs. Hands down the best Hotel in Taormina ( even better then FS )

Can't fault it. Just exquisite in every possible way. Views, food, spa and SERVICE, all outstanding. Don't fall for the "White Lotus" trap, this is the best hotel in Taormina if not worldwide. Just wow.

This was by far the best stay I have ever experienced. This place did not just meet my expectations but set new standards. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The level of hospitality is simply unmatched. The view is breathtaking - overlooking the sea, with Mount Etna in the distance. Most of all, it’s the warmth and professionalism of the entire team that makes Timeo unforgettable. They have set a new personal benchmark for what a five-star hotel should be.

This was a beautiful property with extended gardens, views of Mount Etna and the sea. Great location for walking distance to stores and delicious local restaurants. The partnership with the beach resort was very easy to get to and accommodating. The entire staff was extremely friendly and professional.

Bar Timeo, at the Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo, is an absolute highlight of my stay in Taormina. The terrace offers stunning views over Naxos Bay and Mt. Etna, enhanced by live piano in the evening. The barman, Lorenzo Costanzo, served exceptional cocktails like the world-renowned Etna Spritz and creative house specials such as the Sicilian Mojito and my absolute favourite was the Whisky Sour and I’m not even a big whisky fan. Overall the service and ambience were world class.

Outstanding in every aspect. Fantastic, friendly, helpful service. Gorgeous setting. Beautiful, clean rooms with lovely rooms and Acqua di Parma amenities. Location cannot be beat. Entrance is on main pedestrian road and property is adjacent to the Greek theater. Stay here and drive to other towns you want to visit on the eastern side of the island for day trips.

Our recent visit to the GHT was just exceptional in every respect. The reception, front desk, guest services and concierge teams are welcoming, resourceful and dedicated to making a visit to Taormina and this world class hotel a wonderful experience. Breakfast, dinners and cocktails come with a truly magnificent view of the sea and Mt Etna. The Michelin rated restaurant Otto Geleng is a memorable experience. The wine service reflects their expertise and attentiveness to their guests. The hotel is right near the iconic Greek Theater which is convenient for browsing the shops and sites in the beautiful town. There is a shuttle that takes you down to Villa St Andrea, the sister property by the sea, if you want to go to the beach. There is a spa for wellness. The pool is very well managed. Housekeeping and room service are attentive and very efficient.
