Salad Beach Resort

Hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The pool is great if the sea doesn't cool you down and they offer some of the best massages at the resort.

We had booked two nights but ended up staying four. We really liked the hotel. The staff is very friendly, they helped us with our ferries and train tickets. The room is very comfortable with very nice bed and pillows. Hot water was not that hot, but it wasn't really necessary to take hot showers. The breakfast is pretty good, with eggs cooked any style, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and more. In the evening they set up tables on the sand for dinner. Good food and average prices.

Haad Salad is such a quiet beach on Koh Phangan, far away from the ruckus and partying of the southern beach (Haad Rin) where the full moon party takes place every month. There is not much going on around the resort - only a couple small shops and restaurants. You can rent a motobike to explore the neighboring beaches and snorkel or check out the sites. The resort is a good place to find peace and quiet, clean facilities, a nice pool, good food, friendly staff, and a nicely landscaped resort that feels almost luxurious compared to so many other accommodations around Thailand. They charged a lot to provide transportation to and from the full moon party because they know that people will pay to get there.

Stayed in an excellent private bungalow just off of one of the best beaches in Thailand! The pool was nice, the breakfast was very good, and the accomodations were well done. I would definitely stay here again.

By pure luck looking for a place to stay in koh phangan we found on Expedia this gem and will definitely return for longer next year

We arrived one day late and the staff offered to move the reservation ahead and we only paid for the nights we stayed. Restaurant was on the beach and offered great food. Staff was very friendly. We would recommend staying here.

Staff were friendly. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Everything in the bungalow worked. Hot water was nice too. I would stay there again if I came back here.

I stayed at this resort in August for about a week. I was looking for a clean resort in a beautiful place, on the beach, and this is exactly what I got! The rooms were a bit dated but very clean, large and comfortable. The shower was working well, with hot water and good pressure. The wi fi was available in the rooms, but in the 2 rooms I stayed (I was upgrade on the last night!) it was very sketchy, often unavailable or too slow. However it was available on the restaurant and patio area. The patio with the sun beds is right on the beach, perfect for when you just want to stay in. Sunsets were beautiful, the view from the resort is unobstructed and you don’t get the shadow in the late afternoons that the resorts in the south part of the beach do. The beach itself is beautiful and isolated, however rides and scooters are available cheaply to get around and if you book a tour tours operators will come and pick you up at the resort. Overall it was a perfect choice for me!

Nice pool. good beach. room furniture/curtains/sheets etc. felt old and unwashed. Hotel staff not very pleasant.

No complaints about Salad Beach Resort. The room was comfy and cool. The fish BBQ was extremely tasty. And the staff were helpful. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend the hotel if you're planning to be in the area. The only downside is that the beach is basically unswimmable during low tide.
