Couldn’t fault it and will defiantly stay again if back in the area. I’d say slightly out of town so will need to drive in if you wanted it but plenty enough in the motel room to have a night in. Central to everything. Brilliant

Stayed here two nights but this is a run down place in need of a renovation and a proper clean.

Value for money especially during xmas season. Could do with checking power plugs are working including spa bath. Needs rain shade outside on stairs and entry way so customers dont get drenched in the heavy rain we experienced. Good location friendly owner very spacious family unit.

Good experience. Owners responded promptly to request for late check-in. The room was spacious and had good furniture. The bathroom, while not brand-new, was clean and the shower worked well. Plenty of towels were provided. Bed was soft and comfortable. The room is a 30+ min walk from the i-SITE in the city centre (and buses don't run past 6.30pm), but in easy walking distance (5mins) from Te Puia and Whakarewarewa village as well as a bus stop to go into town. Standing outside the property gives a view of the steam from Pohutu geyser and on a clear night the stars are easily viewed. Due to the close road and the soft earth in this area of NZ, lorries passing by cause the room to vibrate, but this is not too severe and possibly hard to avoid in Rotorua. Overall had a very pleasant stay here and would definitely recommend/visit again if in the area.

They have bed and towel warmers! Located right next to the geyser so we got to see that for fee. They provide cute toiliteries. Room is spacious!

Friendly staff, basic but clean and tidy rooms. Comfortable beds and bedding.

Host was very hospitable. Floors squeaky and baths a bit dated . Nice kitchenette supplies.

I book with extra confirmation for pet friendly, owner can not find email from their system. I book from Expedia, the motel is pet friendly, however owner said to me not pet in. I had to pay extra $20 for my pet. It is not my miss, I never see any word from Expedia the motel is not allowed pet in, and I send the inquiry to the motel, why I should pay extra $20? It is terrible service, never back and never recommend
