Pohutu Lodge Motel

Room had broken glass on the floor, cleaning was very sub-standard.

Warm welcome when we arrived. Spacious clean room and worth the rate. Comfortable and relaxing so we really enjoyed our stay, plenty to do an see and very close to motel. Thank you for having us :)

What a great stay, Barry and Shirley were very friendly and had a wealth of knowledge for the area, the motel was central for all the sights and Barry and Shirley"s suggestions about what to see and do were fantastic. Would recommend for anyone to stay. Thank you Shirley and Barry for such a wonderful experience.

Had all we needed for an over night stay. Plenty of beds. Good sized family bathroom. Service was good, & reasonably priced for what you get. Would happily stay again for a short stay.

great hotel, fantastic upscale city!

We stayed at the Pohutu Lodge Motel for two nights. The position is very good, being able to see geyser from backyard. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice motel but it's not safe for small children. There is no safety latch on the upstairs window and no chain on the front door. The door is easy for children to unlock and open to walk outside.

These family suites were very spacious and clean. We had a small problem because of the system but they fixed it quickly and cheerfully. They advertise 100% kiwi hospitality and it is very true. We were almost dad we only had one might there. Some of my adult children wanted to move in. You can see one of the gysers from the property and walk out close to it or go up on the roof to look at them. Very cute, peaceful and private back patios to relax on also.
