Central Park Motor Lodge

A little tired, but great location for Hagley/ EA. Clean as, and friendly staff.

Location was great, comfy bed, excellent bathroom. Friendly staff. 13mins to airport.

Curtain was mouldy and parking was tight even for our small car. Fridge defrosted water onto floor.

The room was not very clean and it was in poor condition. There was no where to hang towels and the room was not serviced at all while we were there. There were people smoking just outside our room and there were cigarette butts on the ground outside our door.

The location is great. The beds were comfortable.

The room was not clean at all. There were bits of food stuck to the kitchen bench, the table was sticky, and the light switches were black with grime. I ended up buying my own cleaning products to be comfortable. The shower didn't drain and when we went to see why, it was clogged with hair and scum. There are no net curtains, so to have any privacy we had to pull the curtains during the day and couldn't let any natural light in. There are no extraction fans so the room smells musty and there is black mould on the bottom of the curtains and on the windowsills. Its a shame, because with a little bit of time and effort it has the potential to be a lovely place to stay.
