"Loud sticking doors on 3rd floor"

I' am in room 307 and all doors on the floor are sticking. I hear every neighbor when he come home or leave very loud. And I have spider webs in the room.

"Good hotel but better with some improvements"

Good hotel and nice welcome from people who worked here. However, I still have to pay the parking for the night which add 15 €/night. The TV has 4 or 6 dutch channels but nothing in french or english. The room was cold (but hopfully there was a small heater which helped). Breakfast is ok and the room was clean with enough bath towel.

"Outstanding Service and Unforgettable Birthday Experience"

We had an amazing experience at the M Hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. I had accidentally booked a twin room, but when they learned it was my fiancée’s birthday, they kindly called me and offered us a free upgrade. The upgraded room was beautiful and luxurious, and it made the occasion even more special and unforgettable. The atmosphere, hospitality, and overall service were outstanding. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Thank you very much for everything. You truly deserve 5 stars

"Cold..."

Disappointed by the fact that there was no heating in the rooms. There was a very small electric heater but that did not help. Breakfast was again very good. Overall there has to be a renovation of the hotel, especially the rooms. They are getting 'worn' out. 😌

"Severe privacy violation & poor conditions"

We called the hotel when driving to Genk, and asked for availability of a room. No problem at all, said the receptionist. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were initially assigned room 210. Upon entering, it became immediately clear that the room had not yet been cleaned, which we reported to reception. We were subsequently reassigned to room 410. Upon arrival, the room was extremely cold. There was no central heating; heating was only possible via a portable electric heater, which is entirely inappropriate for a hotel in this price range. We left the heaters on while going to a restaurant nearby, which is actually not really recommended for safety reasons, but we didn't saw another option. In addition, it took an exceptionally long time before hot water was available to take a shower. During the night, our hotel room was opened and entered without any prior notice or consent by a staff member (night watchman). They entered the room with the question: "What are you doing in this room"...Really??? Apparently, the receptionist made a mistake, and didn't register that we where sleeping in room 410, but that doesn't give those people any right AT ALL to enter our room. At that moment, we were in a situation where our personal privacy was maximally violated. There was no emergency whatsoever that could justify this action. This is a direct violation of our rights, and didn't make us feel safe anymore later on. The room was also very noisy, so the television of our neighbor was easily overheard. Taken together, this constitutes a serious and unacceptable experience, which caused us a strong feeling of insecurity. This is even an illegal action, a hotel room is a safe space, that can not be entered without approval of the person renting it. What makes this even more disappointing is that, following our complaint, the hotel refused to offer compensation and clearly underestimated the severity of the incident. They offered a voucher, which we didn't accept, the only correct action would have been a crediting of our room. Emma, Arno, please take a course on Customer Service... Overall, the hotel is outdated and does not meet the standard one would reasonably expect for the price charged. Let it be clear: do not book this hotel, you will regret it.

"Ok, but not for a second time..."

Good location, close to the city centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was not clean enough (black hairs in bathroom and toilet, room very dusty and window too dirty, etc.). Breakfast was good, but the breakfast room was partially closed off with a rope because dinner had already been set. Therefore, we couldn't sit by the window, and the room was far too crowded. So the hotel was ok, but not good enough for a second stay.

"Just OK"

Stayed for two nights with a friend. Superb location. Cleanliness is average. If the hotel was a car, it was due for a service. It seems pretty worn over all. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast needs a tune up to be at an acceptable level.

Uitermate vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen. Nette en ruime kamer die helaas moeilijk te koelen viel en bij openzetten van raam veel geluid vanaf terras. Toegangsdeuren naar kamers sluiten met veel kabaal. Twee liften, waarvan één buiten werking en de overblijvende lift relatief klein en erg traag. Leuk restaurant, prima kaart en uitstekend eten en service. Wel lang wachten bij drukte.

"What happened?!"

Our first stay here was “ok”, our second was not good at all. This weekend we stayed again and found: The room was dirty, the elevator broken, the only duvet in our room as too small for our bed and was dirty. The fan in our room was an industrial model and so loud we could not use it. No one answered the phone at the front desk and the breakfast was sub-par. A nightmare we had to pay for. We will not be back.
