From the minute you enter the hotel you receive a warm and inviting atmosphere. Check-in was pleasure. The hotel is located in a very convenient area to beach and main walkway. We traveled by bus from Malaga airport this is a good service and very reasonably priced. We traveled by taxi from the bus station to the hotel which was short 6 minutes travel was again reasonably priced. The room was very well laid out and clean. The cleaning staff provide a quality cleaning service.We couldn't ask for anymore. Looking forward to our next booking.
Overall very nice trip hotel was nice good location apartment very spacious indoor pool small and outdoor pool very cold for this time of year. Beds slightly hard and room could do with refurbishing. Breakfast buffet good though on couple of days were slow in topping up food

Very enjoyable. Lovely helpful reception staff and excellent new restaurant beside entrance. Large spacious rooms but could do with a fresh coat of paint! Very clean with fresh towels etc Changed daily if required. Nice pool area and well-maintained though would be hard to get a subbed in the high season! Wifi needs upgrading as not very good. Very near supermarket and Main Street though in a quiet area. Walking distance of the Paseo/Golden Mile. We would definitely recommend this aparthotel.
I arrived at a cheerful looking hotel and was dealt with promptly by reception. My apartment was a good size with lovely balconies and views towards the mountains. The kitchette had microwave, hob, oven, fridge, washing machine, crockery etc. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and I enjoyed a walk along the busy promenade towards Marbella centre looking at cafes as I walked. The promenade goes as far as a river mouth before Puerto Banus in the opposite direction. There is a bus stop and supermarket about 1-2 minutes walk away and I estimate it is a 20 minute walk to Marbella centre using various routes past shops and cafes. Hopefully the WiFi will be improved soon as it is too slow at times to even look up information on Marbella.
Had a great time loved being so close to the beach, great looking resturant, good food,good selection of drinks.
This was our second stay at the Sultan Hotel and just as enjoyable as the first. lovely friendly and helpful staff, nice Quiet hotel, well equipped apartments if a little tired, a small upgrade only required, excellent situation with lots of restaurants, supermarkets and beach on your doorstep. A nice beachfront walk into Marbella old town or the other way into Port Banus depending on how far you want to walk! Will be going back to the Sultan next time we go to Marbella.
Nice staff, great location and huge room! The extra bed for our daughter wasn't too comfortable, it broke and the springs were easily felt. Aside from the bed we have nothing negative to say, the experience was positive and we would definitely recommend this hotel!
