Very good hotel with polite and efficient staff. Great location near beach and town centre. Overall this is a very good hotel to stay in. Family friendly with two swimming pools (out and in). There is a new restaurant bar area built with great decor and facilities. My only criticism is that portions in the restaurant were very small. The food was good but because you leave hungry you are not going to return. Nobody else in restaurant (half term in Uk). Doesn't make sense to me to spend so much on new facilities and fail on the product! Room was excellent. Booked a one bedroom apartment with kitchen facilities. Was spacious, comfortable and clean. Cleaning staff were very good. Price was competitive to similar other hotels offering standard rooms.
One bedroom apartment overlooking pool with a really large balcony (afternoon/evening sun if there is any!) Spacious, comfortable and really well equipped, very clean (cleaned every day). The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. English channels on TV but unreliable Internet. Outdoor and indoor pool, jacuzzi, small gym etc. There is a tiny late opening supermarket a couple of minutes away and 2 big ones within 5 minutes - one on the seafront. Beach 5 minutes walk - Old Town is a15 minute walk along the promenade- plenty of cafes and bars on the way. There are bus stops 5 minutes away with regular cheap buses to Estepona, San Pedro and other resorts.
We were pleasantly surprised with the Sultan Club.We occupied a 1-bed apartment.The decor is a bit dated but other than that it suited us perfectly.The kitchen is well stocked with dishes,pots etc,it has a full size oven,a 2-ring hob,small fridge & dishwasher plus a washing machine.The bathroom is spacious with plenty of towels.The lounge has comfortable seating,a TV & free wifi which is slow.Our balcony overlooked the pool area,even though we needed to lean over the wall to see it,we had nice views to the west,Porto Banus etc.The balcony is furnished with a table,chairs plus 2 loungers.The hotel's location couldn't be better,close to the Maritimo,restaurants & shops,in fact the whole of Marbella is within walking distance,buses close by also so no need for a car!
Very nice hotel, good restaurant and amazing views (top floor). This is an apartment hotel, I had a kitchen and living room that were well outfitted. The living room furniture was clean and comfortable, but showing lots of wear. The beds were comfortable (firm but not too hard). Terrific place to go for an extended period of time. The pool wasn't as clean as it should have been.

The staff are not helpful, very few have even a few words of english. The apartment was not cleaned properly upon our arrival and had to be done again. The "gym" is dirty and nearly all the equipment was broken at the start of our holiday and did not get fixed when we left 9 days later. Many of the sunbeds are also old, dirty and broken. A 3 star hotel at the most but it has a great location.
Good location so didn't spent too much time in the room,and food at hotel was good. Unfortunately the room was not clean and we had to ask them to clean the floor. Electric not working in the bedroom, which they were unable to fix! reception staff very helpful, from booking taxis to arranging a trip to Gibraltar
A nice hotel, the new Palmyra restaurant & bar areas are beautiful! There were many nights that we were the last guests in the bar (at 2am) and no one rushed you out... There was always service with a smile! We were given a voucher for a free glass of (very nice) cava (per adult) on check in. Wifi could have been better. All rooms are cleaned daily. We stayed in two 1 bed apartments & I felt the facilities let it down a bit... There was no ironing board or iron & we had to go out & buy a chopping board & other sundries. There was however a dishwasher & washing machine. We had 5 teens/early 20s with us & they were a little bored in the evenings as there is no entertainment at the hotel or nearby. This accommodation is definitely more suited to more mature guests & would be excellent for a quiet retreat 'getaway '.
