Hotel Helvetia

Hotel staff are the same as those at the Italian restaurant downstairs where I checked in. Breakfast is simple and delicious. Room got refreshed daily, very cozy to hang out but basic.

Room was a fourth floor walk up. Nice view from the room. Lots of noise late into the night from restaurants and foot traffic. It’s difficult to find the entrance.

This hotel was super convenient for staying in Zermatt and makes it very easy to go skiing! The breakfast included was also very nice and the staff was kind. That said, the area is very loud at night (club/loud music) which made it quite difficult to sleep. It definitely helps you stay in Zermatt on a tighter budget, but would recommend investing in some strong earplugs.

Beautiful place right on the main street. Nice breakfast. Easy checkin. Only the room was a bit cramped for 4 beds. A bit more soacious room would be better.

This property is in a great location - close to the train station and in the shopping area. The windows and doors do not shut well. The bathroom door is a loose barn door - does not stay shut well. At night it is very noisy. I did not sleep more than a few hours. My husband used ear plugs. I cannot sleep on them. Breakfast is ok - not as good as other places in Switzerland.

Great service and location

Esta en una excelente ubicación en la calle principal rodeado de restaurantes y tiendas, no tiene elevador por lo que hubo que subir las maletas, el desayuno sencillo pero rico, limpieza excelente. Recomendable. Check in mas ràpido que he tenido en mi vida

I iike cozy mood and breakfast.

It was just okay. The staff at the hotel wasn’t really friendly, and especially a lady who was taking care of customers at the breakfast made so much noise when she was cleaning the table even though we were still eating right next to her. The breakfast itself was good though, and the hotel is very close to the Zermatt station.

Our room was on the top floor with a view of the mountains, and it was both well-appointed and spotlessly clean. Check-in and check-out were straightforward. It's an interesting old building, but make sure you're all right with stairs!
