The dinner food choices very limited.

Dog friendly, right next to a pub that was also dog friendly that served great food. Free parking & very close to Duxford museum

Don’t allow dogs in breakfast area so couldn’t have breakfast. Lift wasn’t working.. we were on 2nd floor. Which was ok for us but as we were given an accessible room it wouldn’t have been good for anyone who really needed the facilities of that room.

Rooms are comfortable with good aircon, large walk in shower and comfy bed. Plenty of channels on TV if that's what you're into. Good choice at breakfast (buffet style) with continental selections too. Breakfast was included within our booking - BONUS!. Please note, there is an additional £10 car parking fee payable as you check in. This is to prevent commuters at nearby train station using car park 'for free'. This is our 2nd stay at premises and not quite as glowing as 1st, but still high up there.

Room on 3rd floor - lift OUT OF ORDER! Had to repeat who we were 3 times to chap on check-in who then tried to book us into twin rooms when we had paid for doubles.... Service was better at last attendance. Breakfast starts early 6am - but they were not set up - No milk in coffee machine; no milk for cereals / tea. No serving spoons out for cereal... and the biggest one FLIES crawling over used spoon available to dish out beans for cooked breakfast (used own cutlery spoon for this). No sauces for cooked breakfast. Several staff members about but it appeared very un-organised, Shame, as our 1st visit had been 5 star set up. All little things, but together give bad picture.

The shower was excellent

My original room had not been cleaned. However, Staff were very quick to remedy the problem so overall I am happy.

The staff were great.

The facilities were mostly great (the shower needed serious cleaning) BUT One mustn't confuse business acumen with "GREED". Charging residents £10 parking on top of the bill is GREED! I didn't even park in front of the hotel but by the pub next door. He said that I still had to pay £10 because they owned that as well! I won't be staying again because of GREED. They should be honest and include all charges in the advertised room rate.

Location by the train station perfect for London and Cambridge. Was not noisy, despite location - excellent sound proofing.

Breakfast was adequate, but not great. Would be good with more range in baked goods and fresh fruit. Still perfectly acceptable.
