Early book in cost, although after discussion it was deleted. Parking cost for motorbikes, originally wanted £60 for six bikes although once again cost was reduced to £20 when bikes only took up 2 spaces

Clean spacious room with a good shower and comfortable bed, priced very fairly. Basic pub foods, what I ordered was very tasty and, again, good value. Good desk space for working and plenty of space for parking

At the price I paid (£95) Nothing met all my needs for this work trip

Good location for road or train travel. Friendly helpful staff. A good and plentiful selection for breakfast.

More storage space to unpack suitcases. No drawer units and a short clothes rail for hanging up clothes. It meant living out of a suitcase for 11 nights.

Location was next to a railway station and the room we had was actually just a few feet from the railway platform. Fortunately not a very busy railway line but we didnt realise how close the platform would be to our bedroom window. Breakfast plenty of choice.

Lift not working at the time of our visit. I have issues with stairs but managed as only stayed for one night.

The room was clean, lovely bathroom..I really liked that there were drinking glasses in the bathroom. Our room was by the railway line but didn’t disturb us…we live by a main line anyway. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, can’t fault the staff. We ate at the restaurant and had a lovely meal in the evening. The staff worked very hard, it looked like there were only two staff present. The bar and restaurant area were clean and comfortable, plenty of seating.

The lift was out of order, this wasn’t an issue for us as we were on the first floor but could be an issue for others especially those with mobility problems. There were issues with the breakfast, we chose orange juice but water was dispensed we had apple juice instead, not a major issue but was a disappointment. The hash browns had been sat in the serving dish for a long time, they were very hard and inedible, they were so hard I couldn’t even cut through mine. Lastly a key card to access the room would be an improvement, having to tap in a code to access your room when the corridor is quite dark was challenging
