Railay Village Resort & Spa

Railay village was extremely well located to the town strip, west beach and restaurants. The property was clean and comfortable.

Our room was situated at the end of the property, and there was a persistent sewage smell. I'm not sure what the hotel could do, if anything, but it was an unpleasant aspect of our stay, particularly as the scent seeped into the room through the AC unit at times.

Mobiliário antigo, porta do quarto com buracos remendados com papel, muitos mosquitos e cama sem mosquiteiro, restaurante bem ruim, funcionária que faz os ovos sempre mal educada, zero simpatia. O hotel fica na frente da praia, mas na tem cadeiras de sol para uso dos hóspedes na frente da praia (tem apenas na piscina). No geral a “estrutura para uso da praia” é bem rudimentar e fica atrás de outros hotéis que ficam do lado.

Absolutely stunning location with beautiful wildlife, trees, small ponds and well kept paths. The room was very comfortable, with a big bed and a spacious shower. Everything was clean, neat, and tidy. The location is great, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Staff were kind and helpful.

We had several issues stemming from the staff's miscommunication issues. First, we opted for a paid package with room decorations and a cake/dessert for our anniversary. The staff seemed to not be aware of this when we arrived. They promised to make up for it the next day, and they (partially) delivered - the room was properly decorated and looked great. On the day of our anniversary, we booked an expensive massage program at the hotel's spa. Once again, the staff were surprised to hear from me that we booked a 2.5 hour program (and not a 90 minute single massage session). After some back and forth between themselves the staff said they will be able to deliver the full program, however, we ended up not getting the included 30 minute head massage. We were proportionally compensated by the staff so, while unfortunate, the situation was well handled. Finally when we went to the hotel's restaurant to get our dessert, once again the restaurant staff were not aware of our talks with the reception about this. We did get the dessert, but it was sadly underwhelming (like the rest of the restaurant's dishes, unfortunately - we looked forward to it!)

Locatie is fantastisch. Prachtige tuin met mooi zwembed voor de deur.

Het opruimen van lege glazen en borden rond het zwembad of op je eigen terrasje werd vaak niet gedaan. Of heel laat. Terwijl er veel personeel rondloopt.

Good hotel, nice pool and very convenient beach front.

Breakfast was supposed to start at 7am but employees were still preparing the food until 7h45 which was frustrating as we had made plans to start the day early. Service at the restaurant was not so efficient.

Tout était parfait, Magnifique et grand logement, belle piscine, a 3 minutes de la mer, pres de la rue animee mais on entendait rien

The property was located in a prime location, which was excellent. Breakfast was really good I have a lot of variety. Spectacular sunsets.

It has to be the first property and all my travel that ice is not included with accommodation which was a little strange for us. It was a chargeable item for I’m not sure why.
